    Seemed to transmit fine on its own, but the HDMI splitter that is integrated into the device had issues. The split signal was sputtery with red colored artifacts. Issues got worst as the device warmed up. Exchanged it for another unit and similar issues occurred. Ended up returning it. May work fine if you do not need to splitter or if you used a discrete splitter, but then you are spending more money for something that does not work as designed.

    First unit out of box wouldn't work. Lengthy conversation with tech support, they said the unit was defective. Returned first unit to Best Buy (without any problems) for new unit. It worked (i.e. would turn on), but didn't have the signal strength to send signal to a TV with near direct line of sight about 20 feet away. Just plain doesn't work.....junk!
