Poor product...Worse Customer Service

I mostly get CANNOT DETECT VIDEO SIGNAL message. When it does connect, the audio and video are wildly out of sync. I had 3 A/V professionals come out to my house to connect and sync all of my electronics and none of them could resolve the problem. One of the techs told me that he would never recommend an Actiontec product. He happened to be the GEEK SQUAD guy that I scheduled to come out when I purchased a receiver from Best Buy. The Actiontec product was referred to me by one of the Best Buy Magnolia reps. Best Buy will not accept a refund since I am past the allowed period. I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy for many years, maintaining the Elite Status since 2005. I don't care about status, but you should know that it doesn't matter. When you buy a bad product from them, neither Best Buy nor the manufacturers will back them. Actiontec told me that they have known compatibility issues, but the risk is on the buyer. That's a rough $100 donation to the "Keep Best Buy from Going Out of Business Fund."

It did not work with my TV

Was working

Then I installed it at my mother's house and it worked for approximately one week. Then she called me and said all of her cable stopped working. It was this system that needed to be rebooted. After a reboot it worked again, however, an elderly non-tech person could run into problems
