Every time I turn on the tv on the remote tv either the sound or video doesn't work.

The actual rating for distance on the package. I would not recommend this product.

I have our cable box on the second floor and the TV we want to extend the picture to on the first floor. Initially, the product works great and the picture is very clear and sharp, but after 10-15 minutes, it starts to freeze from time to time every 3-5 mintues for 3-15 seconds. Nice product but need something more heavy duty and reliable.

I'm happy with this purchase. The setup was easy and now I'm watching HD in my master bedroom via my satellite box in the basement. Picture and sound quality are excellent. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because the remote control has a lag sometimes. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend buying the product. **Note that you can't watch two different channels. You must watch the same channel as the device that you're streaming from.**

I have a Tivo Premier XL in my living room and an older Tivo Series 2 in the bedroom. The Tivo Series 2 is low-def only and doesn't support digital only cable signals. I've been living with it and really wanted to upgrade it but they are so expensive when you buy the lifetime subscription. I bought this so that I can wirelessly use my living room Tivo in the bedroom at night. It took me about 30 minutes tops to get both the transmitter and receiver connected. The hardest part of the whole install was trying to find the IR sensor on the front of my Tivo for the IR Blaster on the transmitter. Once I found that everything worked flawlessly. I've only been using it for a few days and I love it. It saved me a few hundred dollars from buying another Tivo. Picture and sound quality are perfect. I was expecting to get some time lag with the remote but the delay is so tiny that I don't even notice it. FF and RWD is not a problem at all.

I got this so I could watch tv out in my detached garage. It was easy to set up and had it working in no time. The HD signal transmission is excellent and even goes through 8 inch thick poured concrete walls. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that the IR blaster for the cable box remote stopped working within 2 weeks. Now I have to go back inside the house if I want to change channels. Hoping to get that replaced soon.

I purchased this because my comcast box was at the other end of my Living Room from where I wanted the TV. I mounted it up on the wall with nothing below it and I had Hard Wood floors. Because of the Wood floors I had no way to hide the cables between the Comcast Box & my TV. I purchased this at Best Buy and in 15 Minutes it was working beautifully sending the signal across the room to the TV with no cables. I couldn't be happier.

Unable to run cable where I want the TV to be. Wasn't sure how it was going to work but once I got it hooked up, it was amazing. Put cable box as far away as I could. (in the basement at the other end of the house) work great. Moved it into our computer room 3 foot from the router. Still working great. Picture is great. Just make sure you follow the instructions.

I was looking for ways to reduce my caple bill substantially and came across this gadget. It had good reviews so I tried it. Incredibly, it truly was as advertised and reviewed. Took me 2 minutes to get it connected and running. Works great You don't need a "Millennial" to help out. Even a slow trotting "Boomer" can install and operate this.

I recently purchased a home that was wired with only one HDMI cable during construction. After moving in, we discovered that the HDMI cable does not work. I exhausted several suggested options (snaking a new one, Geek Squad) to replace it, but ultimately decided to go with my own Plan A: The Actiontec - MyWirelessTV2 Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver. The devices were super easy to set up and really resolved my issue. The HDMI picture and sound quality are perfect. The only con is that every three weeks or so, only the sound will turn on with no picture. The fix for this is to simply unplug the power source or HDMI cable to one of the devices for about 10 seconds. This seems to work, but does not eliminate the problem completely since after about three more weeks the same problem occurs. This can be really annoying when family visits and you have to walk them through fixing the issue if you are not home.

This product really solved a problem. No more tripping over a cable cord! I'm not the most tech savvy person but I was able to follow the instructions. They are written very well with illustrations. The signal works fine. I'm happy with my purchase but I wish it didn't cost so much.
