Bought this for my den. Connection took maybe 5 minutes. I was surprised to see that I am able to use my Direct TV remote, I even get the Guide! It's like having cable connected.

Second time I tried this product. Claims 150' of range. I set it up in the same room on top of the kitchen counter about 15' apart. Would stream sound but no video. Strength meter showed about 60% and there were no walls or obstructions. Junk product. I have no idea how anyone could ever give it a positive review. Second attempt, same result. Returning today and a waste of my time.

This transmitter & receiver is superior especially for such an affordable price!

I bought this last month and couldn't be happier. Cable box responds like it was wired. Cable box in basement and TV above the fireplace. This is the best!

Get a hard wired solution, extremely unreliable. Regretting this purchase

I had to reset the receiver on a weekly basis. The distance between the units was 40' direct line of site. After 14 months the transmitter died. Spending $200 for this quality is not acceptable. I would seriously consider other brands before buying this one.

First unit out of box wouldn't work: Sound Only, No Video, then never would link back up. Conversation with tech support, it was determined that the unit was defective. Returned first unit to Best Buy for new unit. It linked after power up, but No Video from receiver (Again) to a TV with about 15 feet away. Wasted a whole evening, took back again to BestBuy for exchange. Bought the IOGear Wireless HDMI kit, which works perfectly.

Bought this product but can't get the audio to work. Tried solution recommended by the tech support but to no avail. Have to return the product.Fortunately no problem with returning the product.

Junk, link keep dropping , failed at 8ft and we needed about 30 ft of free air ...Box shows it going through walls ... no way ..

The picture broadcast from this was choppy and not fluid. The remote feature was ok. Overall I was disappointed by the product and returned it. Ended up getting an appletv instead.

Don't waste your money.I'm on my 2nd set.Constantly needs to reboot.When it does work all is good.Switching sources is a problem.

I bought this because I no longer have the set top box in the same room as the tv and I did not want to drill a hole through the walls to take the line to another room, but the actiontec does not work with verizon fios. My guess is the software on the actiontec is detected by the set top box as a hdmi forwarder. Do not buy if you are using fios tv. Verizon on the other hand has no solution for this kind of setup.

Drops out when 20ft away line of site. Works ok with a pc but is something you will need to start up every day

This sounded like just what I needed to get my cable signal to the TV over my bar. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any signal to the TV, and each time it tried to connect, the picture on my main TV also briefly went black. After multiple failed attempts, I'm returning it.

Worked for a little while then just stopped working. Even when it casted it didn't look as good as when I connected my computer to the tv with the HDMI adapter for the surface.

audio is always 2 seconds behind video. flashing firmware does not help. i now question my loyalty to best buy after these last 25 years after seeing lack of quality like this.
