Not bad. A few slow spots. Good special affects. Atmos not that good.

Most negativity for this movie came from false expectations. This is not a scifi thriller but a cerebral slowburn focused on father & son. Superbly acted with stunning cinematography. It's not The Martian or Interstellar in that it will please several types of audiences tho it's right up there with the best of modern hard sci-fi. It has the makings of a cult classic. 4k is great & especially thrives on the audio side of things.

love the 4k experience the storyline the scenery and the sound.

I might be biased because I will watch every space movie, but for the price...

Great movie with its visuals and sound design in 4K

Bought this Blu Ray disc and another one for a client of mine that I built a Home Theater for. He has never watched it or opened it. When I asked him why, he said no one watches Blu Ray anymore.

Movie can be a little slow. Picture was good not great. Sound was done well.

I wanted to like this 4K Blu-Ray feature as I like SF films, but I was disappointed. Pitt and Jones are great actors but both were wasted in this film. Boring. That said, the picture (special effects) and surround-sounds were great.

A slow burn that's a much better move I felt the second time around. Lotta 2001 ASO in this one as far as the tempo goes, at least for the first half of the film. Highly recommend for fans of 4K.

Pretty good movie. Watched Interstellar and then decided I needed more unseen space flicks. This one wasn’t as good but still a really a good watch. Especially at that really low price

this movie is decent.. story is decent.. Brad pitt is solid

AD Astra is not a bad film. It's not a particularly good one either. It mimics 2001 A Space Odyssey in shots, plot points and pacing but, doesn't come close to that monolith of a film. So, that out of the way, what do we got? A beautiful moon sequence, very nice score, lots of low end spacey ambiguity and an enjoyable ride. I liked it because I love sci fi but, this one was weird because it seemed like it would be fairly hard sci fi like 2001 but, went cuckoo for cocoa puffs at the end which I just thought would be impossible but, whatever. And I don't mean 2001 wasn't cuckoo for cocoa puffs, of course it was, I'm talking the fact that it doesn't go all Kubrick it just stays in science that to me, doesn't work, much like that Gravity travesty. Anyway, it's a good film, it's beautiful, it scratches the sci fi itch. Oh yeah Brad Pitt's in it and he keeps it interesting but, he never gets to play off Tommy Lee Jones and that's a shame. If we're gonna go all the way out there, let's stay another 30 minutes for heaven's sake and have these guys hash some things out like Dafoe and Pattison in the Lighthouse. Speaking of Pattison, check out High Life. No hard sci fi, all cuckoo for cocoa puffs, low budget like Dark Star and yet it works where this one doesn't. Between the two there is a fantastic movie.

Was a good movie. Always like Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones. Great job of making Brad Pitt look like he was the son of Tommy Lee Jones.

I enjoy space movies and love the beautiful planetary visuals. I couldn't pass up at this incredible price. I love Brad Pitt movies.
