I have tried to watch this movie 3 times now and each time I have fallen asleep. Seems like it might be an interesting enough storyline, but the movie drags and there is too much dead space (no pun intended). I noticed that there is a major lack of humor in this show, not to mention the main character seems to be a loner and is a bit lifeless. I will try again... good luck if you make it through the first time!

Although the story may sound less than intriguing,Brad Pitt does a wonderful job making this a very good movie.

Its a good movie easy story to follow. It's a more talking movie then action if you like those this one is for you.

The science and realism make this film worth watching. This film and the Martian make you feel you are in space and living in its environs.

This is a great movie that tries to make a space story a little bit realistic. Not over the top action but a great drama/thriller/mystery

I just had to voice my personal opinion on this movie so as those, who haven't purchased this movie yet, need not make the same mistake as I did. First, I will say some of the visuals were pretty good and Brad Pitt did a decent job of acting his part. That is the best that I can honestly say about the movie, itself. Secondly, as with most films, the trailer made this film out to be something that it really isn't. In this case, exciting. Aside from what most reviewers say was a film about a father-son relationship, that really doesn't happen until the end of the film. The rest of this two hour snoozer, did little to keep your attention and in some spots, actually encouraged you to get caught up on some lost sleep. Do yourself a favor and rent the movie first or just wait until it comes out on one of the premium channels. You'll be glad that you did.

Wasn’t really sure what this movie would be like. It was a sci-fi thriller/ action movie with a good story.

Apocalypse now in space is a fitting title. It's a visually striking, story heavy piece of cinema that i enjoyed. it's tons of eye candy in 4k

I enjoyed the story line but it did take a while to get to the point of the movie. But still enjoyed it.

Beautiful visuals of space with a decent story line. Pitt gives a great subdued performance.

I love movies about space and it was very interested to watch and I wanted to add to my collection.

This movie was better than i expected to be after all the plot twists were revealed.

It's a shame, the sham packaging provided this "Ultimate Collector's Edition" Disk set. The case for this "Collector's Edition" is a flimsy paper wrapper glued to the barest plastic case. Regency publisher would have done better simply sticking the disk in a cardboard sleeve. It might last longer. In a world of streaming, people buy DVD's (SD, HD, UHD) as collectibles. Some people make the argument that the non-compressed audio of DVD's sounds better than their streamed counterpart, that's an ongoing debate. Certainly, if you live in a rural area, poor bandwidth may dictate hardcopy as a better source. DVD's are dying, and putting them in the cheapest packaging won't change that. At least, if Regent tried living up to the "Collector's Edition" package label, there might be a market that will actually continue to buy hard copy - because some want that "collection"

Great movie if you have a 4k tv. It looked great in my oled. Story was ok, I enjoyed it. Good sci fi.

This sci-fi flick was very enjoyable, I loved how some scenes had amazing use of colors and the plot was also enjoyable.

Brad Pitt was awesome in this movie. Hey we might get there eventually, but not in my time lol

A future space movie with Tommy Lee Jones in it!? Never thought I'd see the day.
