It is a monster in terms of read/write over nvme 3, and indeed performs at the advertised speeds (7200 MB/s 6450 MB/s in CPUID), making it a better value that the Samsung 980 Pro in my case. The included heatsink is ineffective for PC purposes and I would not recommend using it. Purchased a 3rd party heatsink and temps dropped more than 15°C on average during heavy loads. The wafer-thin OEM heatsink might be OK for a PS5, but could heat up fast on a motherboard without a built in heatsink or weak airflow.

Easy to install heatsink and even easier to install into the PS5. Ive put around 6 games onto it all around ~100GB and ive still got plenty of space. Fast load times comparable with other high end M.2 SSDs. Best purchase ive made!

I was worried about it not being good or holding up. However, after having it for a few months now I can honestly say it was a great investment. I didn't overpay for a SSD and got a great product.

I’ve installed drives in each system since the PS3. I’d say this one was the hardest but not by much. Just watch one YouTube and you can do it too.

It was advertised with a heatsink, that's a joke a thermal pad with an 1mm thick aluminum piece, for a PS5 it may be worth it now for $130 you still will need a real heatsink.
