I recently installed the ADATA - XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade 2TB SSD in my PS5, and it’s been amazing! The installation was easy, and the SSD fits perfectly. The performance boost is incredible with super-fast load times and smoother gameplay. The included heatsink keeps everything cool, even during long gaming sessions. With 2TB of storage, I no longer worry about space. This SSD is a great value and a must-have upgrade for any PS5 owner. Highly recommend!

This thing never seemed to work right. The ps5 always needing to format it or something. And today it finally caused the "blue blink of death"..

This was exactly what i hoped for my husband's Christmas gift. It is perfectly compatible withthe PS5. This more than tripled the internal storage of my husband's PS5. The installation was quick and it formatted to the PS5 in minites. My husband is elated and already uploaded new games to the system. You can not find another heatsink SSD for this cost. Highly recommend it.

This was was very easy to install to my PS5 using a Youtube how to video. You have to put the heatsink on yourself but it's jsut peel and stick and it is all included in the box. PS5 recognized it quick and I'm getting ~6200 MB/s which is better than the required 5500 MB/s. In case you were wondering, this adds 2 TB to the total memory of the PS5 (meaning it does not replace the original SSD, it works as a second drive)

I went with this SSD for the PS5 because is the cheapest 2 TB option at the time of this review, I got 6200 Mbps and it has a 5 year warranty which is on par with Samsung. I did install Sabrents heatsink that I purchased from Amazon which is better than the included heatsink. All in all, very happy with my purchase!

This is a really fast and affordable ssd for the PS5 or any computer. It is over $100 cheaper than other brands that come with heatsinks for this space. It is reading about 700 MBps faster than the internal PS5 drive which is already insanely fast. It's read speed is just a pinch slower than other more expensive drives, but real world performance test shows that it is within 1 second of those drives. This does come with a heatsink and I have had no problems with it, however I live in Florida and it can get really hot some days here. So I changed out the heatsink it came with for the Sabrent M.2 heatsink for the PS5 which is a better heat sink that can give it extra cooling on hot days. The read speeds I were getting were 62984

This is the perfect SSD for the PlayStation 5! It was cheaper than all of the other brands and even had a little more than 2 tb of memory. It was easy to install and format into the PlayStation. Moving the games to the new SSD was easy and the download speeds were very quick taking a couple minutes for the larger games. Playing games off the new SSD was just as fast as using the originally installed hard drive. Would definitely recommend especially if you can find it on sale!

2Tb M2 gen4 for $250!!! Works great in the PS5, simple to install and set up. It's a no brainer!

Perfect upgrade for any desktop machine and laptops this nvme is super fast. I installed it on my 11900k on a gen 4 port and I get sopesa close to 7k mbps which is close to the advertised speeds. Also is super durable the amount of data you can write on it is higher than any other. If you have the option to put 2 and then combine them with a raid 0 that might almost double the speed. I would do it but my MOBO only have one Gen 4x4 slot. It include a very thin heatspreader practical to be used on laptop. I removed it and put a bigger one to use it on my gaming PC. You could use it like this but then there is no fins at the top so you won’t take full advantage of the airflow around it.

I was honestly a little bit worried about buying this for use with my PS5 as I only had a handful of other reviews to go off of. That said, this drive was super easy to install, works like a charm, and seems to have lightning-fast performance. I went with the 2TB option and I'm super happy with it. I can finally have a bunch of games that I actually play loaded onto my PS5 system all at once and going between them is a breeze with this memory upgrade. Get one, you won't regret it!!

So far, so good. Easy to install. The included heat sink is not really worthy, so added the Rocket heat sink instead. Once installed, took about a minute for the PS5 to format. Moved all my installed games over to this 2TB drive—took about 5-10 minutes for ~ 600GB. I can’t really tell a difference between this and the native SSD, which I think is good. Essentially the same load times. No problems, but will update if something changes. So far at $250 this SSD is a steal.

The ADATA - XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade 2TB Internal SSD is perfect for the PS5. I purchased it with the sole intent of increasing the storage of my PS5. Now, I dont have to remove one game to install another. This SSD is super fast and and very easy to install. I highly recommended it.

Had this in my PS5 for more than 2 months and I'm glad to have the 2TB model for storing games! I am able to hold more games on my system without compromising speed! There has not been any issues with heat and load times are not affected either! The installation took less than 10 minutes, we also used canned air just to make sure we get any dust out before closing things up.

I bought this for my PS 5. Very easy to install. I read a lot of reviews. For the price, and the performance. This is the best. Now i have 3TB overall. Start up is very fast, and loading games is equally fast.

I did a lot of research before buying this memory expansion card for my PS5. I shopped on all the major sites before deciding this was the best card for the price (I got it on sale for $180). This card rated out in the top 10% of every card I looked at. The box said it was rated at speeds up to 7400MB/s, the fine print indicates that speed was for a PC; it said the speed for a PS5 was 6100MB/s. After I installed mine it measured an impressive 6600MB/s. I've used external drives for my PS4, and the commensurate speed between that and this card shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence, Hats off to Sony for making the PS5 so easy to upgrade. Going from 1TB to 3TBs is a blessing! There are less expensive cards out there, but you get what you pay for. Don't cheap out on a few bucks and trickle along at 3000-4000MB/s when you can be cruising in the fast lane, The difference in speed between the pre-installed 1TB drive and this 2TB upgrade is negligible. PS5 games take up a LOT of memory space. I found myself having to delete one game in order to install another. Not any more!

I got this to expand storage in my PS5. It was easy to install and works great! I honestly can't tell the difference between this and the original hard drive. Plus the price is better than anything else I could find. Do it!

My go to drive for recommend expansion of PS5 storage. One of the cheapest options on the market, includes a heatsink, and performance wise is towards the top of the rankings against drives much more expensive. You can't go wrong.

I lots of thinking do deep research before I make a major purchase. PS5 gas very limited storage space and I thought adding 1tb isn’t enough for next gen games. 4tb is currently very expensive. But 2tb is just right and relatively affordable. I was a little skeptical to try this and concerned about its performance compared to top brand competition. I decided to buy it during Cyber week deals that nearly costed half of its competition. The reading speed in PS5 is close to 6200 mb/s which is way above the recomended 5500 mb/s. I would highly recommend it.

I love the SSD card its fast and an easy install and I'm not mechanically incline. The price in of itself is a win compared to compared to the competition.

Great product, easy install for the PS5 and the speed offered ensures no lagging for games. I would would this to anyone looking to expand the PS5's hard drive space.
