Geek Squad mounted my TVs

Not completely satisfied with experience.

When Best Buy visited and we purchased the upgrade to our Home Entertainment System we were never informed that the frame work for mounting the TV would be seen; however, the original TV (55”) showed all of the 2x4 framing around it. We expected a turn-key project! This is when we were given the option of either trimming it out ourselves or purchasing a larger TV to cover the frame work. We chose the larger TV (65”) which was $900 dollars more and with more expensive TV came more expensive warranty pushing the cost up over $1000 more, way over what we had budgeted. When informed we would be “taken care of”, because of the mistake and inconvenience were seeing the $200 credit. We had hoped for more! We have been very loyal customers for many years and we are sad to say that this is the first time we are not very satisfied with our experience. Your Geek Squad installation and technical support has been fantastic and any mistakes cannot to attributed to them.

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. How a TV is mounted is dependent on the specific mounting surface and other individual factors of your unique installation area. If the particular situation did not allow what had been originally expected, we can certainly understand how that would be disappointing, especially if your desired resolution required a different TV or additional fees. At this point, we’re glad to hear that the service was completed though we’re sorry for any inconvenience. We hope that in the future you allow us another opportunity to better serve.

Don't Get Burned!

Good hang, bad follow through
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TV was hung fine, but they didn't actually run my cat6 to the outlet side of the channel, it feels like it either plugged in to something, or just stuck. I moved my entire Wi-Fi system, so my guess is it just reconnected to Wi-Fi.
