    Overcharged?

    They seem to have charged for services not performed and not requested or needed. My tv was already mounted on a brick wall and they were told so I'm advance. But they kept asking me if the tv was mounted on a brick wall. Service advisor had a narrow tracked mindset!

    Not great for $300

    Kinda careless with my $2300 TV. One guy scraped the top against my fireplace when he was rotating it. Then, they mounted it crooked on the wall. I didn't notice until after the fact that they just loosely piled up the power outlets behind the TV on top of the mount.

    Took a long time

    Took a long time because the mount I purchased was not able to be mounted center over fireplace due to wall mount configuration. Luckily tech had another mount in van and that one worked. About a half inch lower on one side.

    Very confusing when they are coming to install my tv no one called me no email very long wait over the phone will call again to find out when they are coming they already charged me for installation.

    Beware!!! Ensure you read the fine print of your install. Geek Squad is not responsible for any damages. I had 4 additional holes put in my wall. Even though they did it they are not held responsible. When I went to the store to discuss all they could tell me is to call the 1-800 number to discuss the damages and geek squad wasn’t responsible. I had to come out of my own pocket for the damages. Not good business.

    this is a tilt only mount, and that's exactly what it does. It tilts up and down from completely vertical a small amount. Permits the TV I had mounted over the fireplace to be viewed at a better angle from the sofa across the room.

    I booked for my tv to be mounted online the installer came and called me while I was at work he said they would have to charge me more since it was above my fireplace this was not an option when I paid online plus I have a fireplace that uses gas and does not use real wood. Anyway I had to pay $100 more for the install and he chipped the paint on the ledge above my fireplace he told me to send him a picture and I did nothing was done about it after. I'm giving it a 2 since it was done but the chip and miscommunication was not appreciated.

    On Hold 30+ Minutes - Frustrated

    I appreciate the early install appointment over the Christmas holiday and professionalism of the installers. Unfortunately the TV was mounted crooked and I’ve tried numerous times to call the store to have the installers return and fix the job. Every time I call the store, I go through the computerized selections and placed on hold forever... 30+ minutes on-hold is outrageous. I’ll have to go into the store to hopefully get a response to my problem!

    The service to install a new TV and remove its replacement was timely and efficient. The only issue I've had is the Apple TV needed to be reinstalled again, twice.

    The guys who mounted our tv for us were great. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I think it's ridiculous to charge extra to mount a tv over an electric fireplace!
