    Geek squad said I would have to tear out the wall and put in more studs. I had another company install. They didn’t have to tear out anything. I will need to be refunded what I paid for installation.

      Hello howranw – I’m sorry we weren’t able to get that install completed for you. Safety is our top priority, and if the Agent felt that the mounting wouldn’t be stable enough without those extra studs, we wouldn’t be able to perform the mounting. Under our Return & Exchange Promise, and uncompleted services should be refundable. If your purchase was made in a store, please visit that store. If the purchase was online, you can visit a store or call us at 1-800-GEEKSQUAD (1-800-433-5778) to get that refund processed.

    This did not happen, mounting bracket and wires were existing all that was done is tv hung on existing bracket and existing wires connected!!

    Found an AFFORDABLE, competent professional on Thumbtack who installed two TVs in two different rooms for a fraction of the price! (No wires showing)

    Keep trying to add a warranty on my credit card when I am not getting anything from them. Did it 2 months in a row. Enough is enough

    Don't send independent contractor, send a Geek Squad member next time. They take pride in their work. Much better service and experience in Shreveport.

    Very disappointed in the service. Waited a week fir Geek Squad. When they showed up price to have TV mounted doubled. They did nothing because I wouldn't agree to new price.

    I like the service, if I was only paying the original 100 bucks to get the tv installed I would be fine with that . You can find people to install your tv for 60 to 80 bucks. Them adding these extra 100 bucks for different thing was annoying. I ended up having to pay 300 bucks for my tv mounting because it was over a fire place and my tv was more than 51in. I did it anyway because my tv was brand new and I didn't want to risk it. If I move though. I will def get someone to do it for me.

    Didn't really want to have to pay extra for this considering I paid for so much more, but the mount job was perfect so no complaints so far.

    This was a standard installation into a sheetrock wall over 2x4 studs. I was upset that they charged extra

Our Premium TV mounting does including mounting a bracket to a standard-frame wall. Anything additional, such as above a fireplace, or mounting onto a custom surface would require an additional charge.
