not a fan sorry

I don't understand why they cut the hole so far away from the outlet. it just looks ridiculous with a cord going 3 feet across the wall.

The geek squad had the incorrect cables.

They drilled holes for the cable but it a stud without checking to see if there was one and had to drill another hole for the cable . They still have not comne back out top patch the hole up.

poor work by 3rd party installers sent by best buy

I called Best buy on phone to schedule wall mounting of TV along with in-wall power kit wiring , they gave me appointment for 09/26/2020. Best Buy sent 3rd party installers called TEXAS 1 COMMUNICATIONS . They wall mounted the TV's , but were not able to do in-wall power kit wiring, instead they damaged my dry wall by making holes in it. They said they will send another person to fix the dry wall free of charge in 1-2 days. That person never showed up. I called their manager and he gave the number for that subcontractor to fix my dry wall. I spoke to that subcontractor who said he will be coming in few days, but has not shown up after several days. I spoke to him 2 days back , and he said he cannot do it . I called and texted the manager for TEXAS 1 COMMUNICATIONS many times , but they do not respond anymore . I called Best Buy Geek squad yesterday , was on hold for almost 1 hour , then their customer service person came on phone and transferred me to special forces department, I was on hold with them for almost 1.5 hours , then I hang up. I called Best Buy Geek Squad again today , was on hold for special forces department for 1.5 hours again, then a representative came , listened to the whole story and said they only take care care of repairs of electronics and she transferred me to installation department and I was on hold with with them for another hour, but to no avail. I thought I was dealing with Best Buy when I called to schedule my service, I didn't know Best Buy would give it to 3rd party and then when 3rd party messes up, there is no way we can get hold of these 3rd parties . I have open holes in my dry wall, and the 3rd party and Best Buy would not respond . Very bad experience .

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad could not put the wall switch, but they did put a hole in the wall and a second start of a hole. I had to call an electrician. The electrician put the electrical part after the electrician and I got the TV off the wall. We also had to rehang the tv. Also the Geek Squad did all the setting but never explained them. I was disappoint with the Geek Squad.

Better to buy from Amazon and hire an installer

One knew nothing and the other guy measured the position for the mount incorrectly TWICE! They also banged my TV around and left big smudges on the screen, which are still there. Two weeks later they sent a 3rd party installer to remount the tv. They were great. But the first guys left 8 big holes in my wall. Customer service said they would send me a gift card and file a complaint to repair or compensate for the mess they made of my wall but so far I have not heard a word from them.

Big Fail...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where do I start...I ordered a tv and specifically informed them that I wanted it mounted and the power chord inside the wall. 3rd party came out and delivered and mounted the TV but said they did not have the inside power cable on their work ticket. They did a great job on the install and they informed me that someone from best buy would contact me to reschedule. I did not receive a call from anyone. I called them 4 separate times to explain the issue and everytime they said that a manager will call me. I heard nothing. I called again and customer service said they will reschedule a tech to come out and install the proper cable in the wall. The Geek Squad arrived and they did not have the cable and did not have the components for my specific TV.?? They said that I need to purchase an additional cable to run inside the wall. I wish customer service would have told me this when I ordered the TV and when I called 4 times after that. Next time I will purchase online and find someone on my own to do the install.
