    The people that came to my house for very family but I am not happy because my TV has not been working properly since and they have not helped me at all

    Despite being told over the phone that Best Buy could move my power and cable outlets, they could not. So I wasted a day off from work only to be told they couldn't do it without a kit. The person I spoke to on the phone should have told me I needed a wall kit before I wasted my time and the tech's time.

    At the time of purchase i requested an in wall power connection and it was noted as such. But they forgot to tell me that i needed to purchase a separate in wall kit for it and because of that this work could not get done. Very frustrating and disappointing Tirthankar Choudhuri

    Not sure why you sent to technicians to do my install on two different appts and still the job could not be done by the third party. When I finally spoke with someone on the phone, they let me know that Geek squad is only allowed to perform this job. Once I rescheduled the a lot was cancelled without notification.

    I was told that this was the best product but I could have used the one I had brought from Walmart and it would have been the same.

    The Best Buy order, and The Geek Squad membership, was canceled because The Geek Squad farmed out installation to a 3rd party subcontractor who never came at the scheduled time. Three times!! This was a terribly dissatisfying and disappointing experience.

    Power wall install requires an additional 99$ for each “cable” that run through it. Customers are not given a device to run the cables themselves. Beware of this add on.

    They told me there was a fire block in the wall, it was just stairs behind the wall, if they would have tried again 2 feet over to the right, still behind the TV, they would have been able to run the cables. I ended up doing it myself later. I would still recommend they do it, but make sure they try all options, seemed like they were in a hurry to get out.

    I purchased the in-wall kit separately from this service. I though the in-wall kit was included with the service but I guess not.

      Hello John – I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the kit not being included in the service. A good rule of thumb when considering Geek Squad services in the future is that unless the service explicitly calls out that the parts are included, a separate charge will apply for any parts needed. I apologize if this wasn’t explained to you when you made your purchase.

    My appointment had 3 pieces to it 1) 56" & above TV connect & Mount 2) In-Wall Power Extension 3) Add-on sounder connect & mounting Only #1 was done. #2 and #3 were not done and yet the status shows completed.

    I’ve been waiting for Over 2 weeks to get my TV mounted, and the last installer left holes in my wall, did a claim , and I still have not heard anything, so wrong how they treated me, no help, no refund?? Too

    disappointed in the service quality. They were nice. but did not want to install outlet due to firewall There was no firewall had to pay an electrician

    Customer service for a price match is rude and they will not honor. Nor will they pick up the phone once they place you on hold. Can not speAk with a manager.

    Not worth it. An electrician can install an outlet behind your tv for this same cost or less. The extension cord at the bottom defeats the purpose. Waste of money.
