    Worst install ever. They walked in and asked for tools and a step stool. Placed the tv on the bracket and inserted the cables in the wrong slots. I don't have remote access, had to unplug the lot to turn off. Remote not remotely working. Cables all over the place. BAD service!!

    This team seemed very capable however one of the guys was terribly foul mouthed. It made me uncomfortable and I'll be cautious about using this service again

    Yeah, they installed my new TV. Remove my existing TV to my bedroom remove the existing bedroom TV and damaged it. This was December 19 here it is January 13 and still nothing has been done. My TV has not been replaced. And the people that Best Buy hired to install my TV and remove my existing TVs denied damaging my TV and still nothing has been done by Best Buy so no, I would not hire geek squad again and no I do not recommend them.

    They could have explained the details of the TV better. The mounting could have been explained. How do you pull out the TV from the wall and move it. Also how does the sound bar work.

    We a TV, sound bar, and mounting kit for our new home in Fredericksburg, TX. When the installation crew showed up, we mutually decided that we had purchased the wrong mounting kit. Justin was very helpful in the store at the Rim, San Antonio to guide us to the right TV mount, but that is where everything went down hill. We also purchased a ring doorbell and camera from Justin that day, and arranged for their installation. It took over 30 minutes to do the paperwork and reschedule installation (we are Totaltech members). Not for a lack of trying on Justin's part...the systems just wouldn't accept his entries. We never heard from Best Buy to confirm installation of our TV...only installation of the doorbell and camera. When we spoke with doorbell/camera installers about scheduling the TV installation, they couldn't help us, because there was no work order in the system. After multiple attempts to contact BestBuy on the toll free number and being on hold for over 30 minutes per attempt, we gave up and called a local TV installer in Fredericksburg, TX. Whoever is responsible for BestBuy's IT systems that support purchasing and scheduling, THEY SHOULD BE FIRED! Your people in the stores are the more tech-savvy individuals you typically find in retail. If they struggle to use these systems, you have a real problem. We will avoid going to BestBuy in the future. While we have always enjoyed the service we receive in the store, it is just too painful to work with your call center, installation systems, etc.

    Unprofessional. The people that came to install my TV wasn't geek squad they were very unprofessional and literally destroyed my wall by drilling it 4 times cause they were guessing there the stud was.

    Do not pay for total tech, they will not fix it or honor their commitment. Purchased a TV and payed for total tech to have it installed and BEST BUY HAS CANCELED OR NOT SHOWN UP TO FIX IT. Contact tech support via messenger and they advised me to bring the TV to my local Best Buy to which the geek squad and management said “they are short handed” and can’t help me. I am a disable veteran that struggles with removing the TV to bring in only to be told they can’t help me. I have called 3 difrent departments. No one cares no says they are sorry. Worst place of business ever. I will never purchase and item again from Best Buy!!!!!!!

    No Cleanup after Install

    The third party that came to install my TV, did not do a cleanup. They drilled holes into the Tiles and he cleaned up the drill into the TV box instead of trash. After installation, i had to ask him to clean the powder he did little but still there was a lot of dusk from the drilling. I hope BestBuy tells its contractors that cleanup is part of the install.

    Had our TV's installed about a month ago and still can't use them. The company that came out to install them were nice but cant figure out how to get the TV's to work. The TV's arent square and if wanted to that to happen I could have installed them myself. We have Geek Squad multiple times and they continue to say we will have a supervisor cll you back and never happens. Going to go into the store Monday and talk to management, hope we get better resolution. Should have just hired outside contractor.

    Worst experience ever. The mounters came and had a negative attitude. They damaged my custom entertainment center (dents, marks, scratches, paint chip) & damaged my brand new tv. It was a nightmare. When they left, it wasn’t even mounted tightly and was completely crooked. We had to pull it back out and tighten the Mount. Best Buy customer service and claim continues to be a nightmare. Such a waste of time & money on this service that I spent. I even bought the tv from Best Buy. I expressed this concern to the local Best Buy, but all they offered to do was contact the claim center again. I didn’t feel compensated for this frustrating nightmare. I was never made aware that a third party was coming, or was even given an option. I so much would’ve chosen feel squad. Although it was a third party, they partner with Best Buy for their services so Best Buy needs to take some responsibility and offer more support to their customers for this situation.

    Best Buy 3rd party install failure

    Best Buy uses a 3rd party “CRST Home Solutions” for installs in addition to the Geek Squad. “CRST Home Solutions” has forced me to reschedule 4 times due to their errors, twice taking the TV to my billing address instead of my home. The last appointment was a “no call no show” even after I received a confirmation phone call from their dispatcher the night before. I called several times during the day and CRST Home Solutions dispatcher could only tell me that the install team was not answering their cell phone so she sent an email to have them contact me. She also asked the manager to call me. I did not receive any calls or emails from the (4th party) install company or CRST Home Solutions. After 3 weeks and 3 appointments I still do not have a TV however I have received my first Payment due bill! Do Not agree to have anyone install your appliance unless it is a Best Buy geek squad employee, there is no accountability for the 3rd & 4th parties Best Buy uses.

    The service guys mounted the bracket and TV. It seemed like a great idea, to be able to pull pout and lower, however the gasket that controls the slide or pulling up and doen won't hold - it'all the way up or down - no in between. Installers couldn't make it work either.

    It was properly connected ....this was an exchange for a smaller new tv and being replaced with larger....techs were to pick up the exchange and return to store....I was told i had to schedule another day for pick up of exchange....store person told me it would be done at the same time. Very unprofessional...now I have wait on another day for pick up

    I ordered a TV and sound bar on 12/24, nearly two months later neither has been delivered. They have cancelled delivery 4x some on on the day of delivery. One time the guys on the truck called and said I had to pay more for the delivery (on the day of delivery, after I scheduled my day around it), then cancelled after that.
