    Again they canceled 3 times for this appointment. Took over a month for them to show up just to try and scan me. They didn’t do anything. Tried to give me a number for a guy that would do the wall mount. Waste of time and money.

    Very terrible guy who came to my home, very rude and unprofessional. Did a very bad job and ask me to call bestbuy again to come and reinstall the tv. He argued with me from the beginning to the end and refused to take order of where the tv is supposed to be installed. If you are considering using bestbuy term for installation, don’t because they will frustrate you.

    Your system is so screwed up. You have no idea what service was expected, paid for, etc., you sent people who walked off the job, the second group sent long after did not set things up correctly and claimed the pieces were not there to do the work, and now I have paid someone else to do the work. I will never hire Best Buy's service again.

    Specialized TV Mounting. my review of this service I rated as not good I had a TV Installed above a fire place and the extra charge was on the other tv installation and set up, I thought that was a little excessive I communicated that to the install crew and the sales dept t Best Buy but it is policy when installing above fire place thought the cost of both was a little excessive

    Epic fail on specialty install

    On mutiple occasions Best Buy total tech was informed and acknowledged special mounting condition. A third party installer was assigned and I was assured that they were capable to do the install. Installer arrived on time and advised that he did not have the tools and equipment to do the install. Additionally, the installer was alone, without the ability to mount an 80lb television. Installation did not occur, which was a major inconvenience especially in light of personal arrangements to accommodate Best Buy scheduling and a major annoyance over the total lack of accountability by total tech for the install.

    They never showed up. We waited a month for this appointment, and they no showed. Then scheduled us out for another entire week for Christmas EVE. They no longer do installs from the store staff, it's all outsourced. We live in AL and they're trying to send a crew from Louisiana.

    When I made my initial purchase, the salesman asked where I was having the tv installed at my home. I told him on my patio. He did not say it was a special installation with a price upgrade. I did not find out until later that same day when I received a call from the salesman who said I needed to come back to the store and pay more and my prior install date would have to change.

    They only mounted two of the five tvs. Out of those two one of the sound bars fell down. They then said after multiple calls that lasted 1 to 2 hours each time that they either rescheduled the services to be performed only for me to call and no appointment to be scheduled.. Or they said they refunded the mounting fees which they did not. I still have three tvs and three mounting systems and two sound bars sitting in my home to be installed. I am over talking To geek squad, custom service. I even canceled a order for a TV after two no shows. Every since geek squad started out sourcing their services the quality has went downhill. I am very disappointed.

    I thought I ordered a through the wall install, no visible wires, for the space above my fireplace. I was explicit with the telephone scheduler. I am looking at an array of wires now, as I wait for "the electrician or someone like him" (Firesign Theatre). Communication between the telephone order team and the Geek Squad install team was extremely deficient.

    The installer didn’t seem to know what he was doing, he tried to tell us because we bought a Samsung Frame TV, it could not be centered on the wall then when he connected the Samsung soundbar he used the wires and insisted they were needed, the soundbar is wireless and when we installed and mounted our other TV we needed no wires. He was rude and condescending, he had no extra supplies with him as he told us”I squally have screws with me but it’s the end of the day and Imran out” Really poor service for the high price.

    The installation was planned on 22Dec, but was cancelled due to blizzard/snow situation in Clive. I can understand this. What is strange is all appointment post 22Dec stays the same, but clients on 22Dec (unlucky ones) will now have to wait until the new available slot, which is 3Jan! Would be reasonable to shift all appointments starting 22Dec onwards by one day, giving the priority to 22Dec clients. Instead, they have the last priority. Strange management to me!! Have been waiting for this for some time, plus paid EXTRA money for the service. ALL A WASTE. FRUSTRATING!

    Whether its Pinole Best Buy geek squad tech team or the best buy reps at Pinole, NO ONE EVER seems to know the appointment date nor the appointment address. on 2 different ocassions, i've had the appointment canceled and changed without my consent. 2nd time they put in the wrong home address and almost came home to my house in LA rather then Richmond. when i clearly have a receipt that says the address is for Richmond but no one KNEW how it was changed, again. i will NOT be coming back to that Pinole location

    Bad experience but the installer saved the day

    One of my worst experiences. I bought, by phone, items the installer was to bring with him on the scheduled day but he did not. It took me an hour or more on the phone to learn that the order input person showed ‘the system’ that I had picked up my order in person. Thankfully, the installer made the trip to the store and purchased my items himself so the installation could be done and I reimbursed him directly. Totally unacceptable performance by Best Buy. However, the installer was wonderful, gracious and went above and beyond what should not have been his responsibility.

    Geek squad hired a 3rd party to do the job I paid them to do, fraud? The 3rd party I guess could not come on the day promised by geek squad team. Needless to say I cancelled my order, hired my own person and will never use this place again!

    Never use Best Buy as they contract a third party. If anything goes wrong their customer associates are the absolute worst in the business. Spoke to 20 different people over 3 weeks and nothing was ever resolved properly. Best to use just about anyone else.

    Worst experience ever. They were rude, rushed, and didn't take time for me to really decide where I wanted the TV placed. Instead they said: "We have another appointment in a few minutes. You can make another appointment if you need us to come back."
