My installation, for 1 television, started almost a month ago. Has yet to be completed, nor have I heard any feedback or update in weeks. I assume they may show up someday although I recieved an email and voicemail stating it was complete. I've asked to be contacted by Customer Service and Geek Squad multple times.

Late arrival and damage to the fire equip in build

In addition, they broke the fire extinguisher box, glass and tore it off the wall in my building hallway as they loaded their equipment in. They did not tell me this until I went to leave my condo and found the damage. I had to approach them and ask if they did the damage and they fessed up. They just left broken glass and the fire box on the floor of the building and didnt say anything.

They said that it will go above the fire place then they turned around and claim that it will get to hot so I do not have a fire place due to the poor, unprofessional set up. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ARTICLE SINCE THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A HEAT SENSOR.

They came back to remount with included bracket and got it off center above fireplace. Had to take the mount they sold me back for a refund and now have to take it back down and remount it myself. Canceled Totaltech service next day.

Geek Squad service should not be mounting TVs

Television appeared awkward, so I hired a contractor who had completed previous projects in my house. He was shocked to discover that the television was not mounted in a wall stud. Luckily my contractor came the next day. This team should never be marketed as a specialty team - they did not know how to place a new electrical outlet behind TV.

None of them were deemed do-able or satisfactory. They returned the purchased TV, sound bar etc. to the truck and suggested we reschedule to a later date once we've figure out where and how the TV should be installed. When the same team was scheduled for the follow up date we cancelled the service and found a private contractor.

Techs have no called no showed 2 weeks in a row. Terrible customer service can’t get ahold of anybody. Whoever they are subcontracting the installs to suck.

TV not mounted after 2 visits and 4 weeks

Two visits have been made to my home and my tv is still not mounted. Currently, I am scheduled for a 'consultation' on 6/28/2023, a full 6 weeks since the initial purchase. I do not need a 'consultation'. I need my TV mounted. I have never had this type of issue with Geek Squad in the past.

Extra charge for an easy job

You’re going to place the tv at approximately 6 feet high no matter what wall you put it on. It was not any more difficult to charge extra!

Geek Squad Do Not Recommend

Attached the cable box to the back of the TV with Velcro. When the TV warms up box falls to the top of the fireplace mantel in plain sight and looks terrible. Previous house had TV above the fireplace for 9 years and did not fall down in sight ever. Did not get the TV to work. Said was not their job. Had to get the cable company out to get service.

Twice scheduled for installation, twice no-show, and *no communication* as well. Absolutely absurd. Sitting at my new place, an hour drive away, waiting on site and no-shows. And no follow-up to reschedule, I had to call in multiple times myself to hunt help down. They've basically took my money, stole my TV and sound system, and ghosted me.

Overcharged
