    I had my TV for about 3 months. On the Geeks squad recommendation. You want to work the TV in for awhile before you have it calibrated. TV looks great.

    This is my 3/4 purchase from Best Buy in Morgantown, WV. As in previous transactions nothing but professional. In an out in short notice, with problem corrected.

    The technician was obviously an expert on calibrating the tv, and he was very conscientious and took his time to make sure it was perfect. I highly recommend having this done.

    The Technician seemed proficient and went through all the settings. At first all seemed good, however, after viewing various programing such as live TV, streaming, recordings and so on I was disappointed in that the skin tones (especially on live TV) still had an over magenta tone which cannot be adjusted with the regular settings. Also, some programming simply had a very poor picture and had to change settings to Vivid just to make the picture viewable. So overall performance on the TV is poor. Now having to deal with Sony support to find out whats wrong.

    The agent took her time, and answered all my questions, as well as completing the calibration on my speakers, in a timely manner. She had a lot of good info to pass along.

    The Technician Was Good, Best Buy Is NOT!

    On 10/23/2019 I purchased the 'Best Buy - Total Tech Support Yearly Membership'. I did this because I wanted a TV calibration. I scheduled a TV Calibration for 11/08/2019. I received an e-mail that showed an appointment between 10 am and 2 pm. I called the Geek Squad phone number to verify this time and was told that was correct. I received a call from the technician the following morning and he stated that he would probably arrive between 12:30 pm -1 pm and that they did not schedule appointments between 10 am and 2 pm. The technician could not make it on 11/08/2019. He did complete the service on 11/09/2019, this was a courtesy that the technician made. Best Buy themselves did nothing to accommodate me. They have problems with their scheduling system. The technician did a good job of calibrating SDR. I did not realize until later that this calibration did nothing for HDR content. I called Best Buy Geek Squad on 11/26/2019. The person that I spoke with verified that they do have the equipment to perform HDR and Dolby Vision calibrations. I scheduled an appointment with him for the following day 11/27/2019 to perform a Dolby Vision calibration between 12 pm and 8 pm. No one showed up on that day from Best Buy. No one called me that day from Best Buy. I received a call from Best Buy on 11/28/2019 stating that there was a scheduling problem and that I should have received notification from the technician that was supposed to show up. I never received any such notification. I asked her to verify that their technicians can indeed perform Dolby Calibrations. She did not know what that meant. She stated that she would have her manager call me so that I could verify this with him/her. I never received any call from the manager. No communication from Best Buy what so ever. Because of this, I want to cancel the Total Tech Support Yearly Membership and receive a full refund. I can not rely on Best Buy to provide proper customer service.

    The Geek Squad guys were not only very good technically, but the had excellent customer service. The made my 78" curved Samsung look the best it has look since I purchased it in 2015.

    Geek Squad person was great and explained what he was doing. I ahe my doubts whether it improved the image quality and if it was worth the money. I have two other Samsung TV's that are older but have better image quality and did not have calibration.

    Once we got the Geek Squad to our home they were great. The team was pleasant and helpful after recalibrating our Sony 65 inch television.
