I recently purchased an in-ceiling speaker system along with a receiver setup from Best Buy, and opted for Geek Squad’s installation service. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. While the speakers were installed, the technicians failed to complete the setup properly — they did not install banana plugs at the receiver end, which are standard for a clean and reliable connection. When you’re paying for professional installation, you expect attention to detail and a complete job, especially for something as basic and industry-standard as banana plugs. The oversight left me disappointed and required additional time and effort on my part to finish what should have been done during the initial install. I hope Geek Squad improves their training and quality control to ensure future customers receive the level of service they pay for.

Jason did a fantastic job of installing 3 JBL Studio 6 Theater speakers for my home theater FRONT Left Center and Right speakers. This involved cutting a perfect template for all in sheetrock along with the actual installation in the wall and connection.

Geek squad did a great job installing my speakers they did 5 speakers in ceiling and also hooked up two subwoofers. Had to pay 150 extra for the extra subwoofer install. They also hooked up my new onyko receiver. The system sounds awesome!

The agents connected my TV and mounted my Bose home theater.They did an amazing job. In addition to that, they arranged all the cables neatly. I wish I can give them more than 5 stars .

The installers were careful and methodical with the speaker installation, especially where rafters or piping in the ceiling could have been in the way. They even ensured all wiring completed by the home builder was done correctly. Everything turned out great!

Neil and Jeremy arrived when promised. Brought all the tools needed. Answered my questions completely. Installed the tv (on my wall) quickly. Installed my sound system as I asked very quickly. Neil checked the sound and they took away the damaged tv These guys impressed me with their professionalism and expertise. Definitely the A team.

Tom Baker, Rob Hendricks and his partner John with the Geek Squad were able to utilize our existing 10 Bose wall speakers in conjunction with the Marantz amplifier such that the resulting sounds produced were fantastic.

Two technicians came to install my surround sound system. the ceilings are 10' and the ceiling is wood planks. The installation took a bit longer, but the result was great. The job was professionality done. I would highly recommend the Geek squad for any installations.

They did everything they were supposed to and more on a tough install. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I have had a couple of “how to” questions since the install and Logan has promptly called back with accurate and detailed information. Very pleased.

Agents came by the house to do a surround sounds install. They did everything super quick and did an awesome job on cleaning up after themselves. You wouldn't even know they were their after they had left. Great job on the work and very profession with any questions I had also. They also moved my Tv from one location to another that would of been a more suitable fit with the surround sound and did it flawless.

I purchased a number of items from BB and Geek Squad installed them. A total of seven Geeks showed up and did a wonderful job with the install. They all were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Happy with this service.

Agents did an A+ job installing all of the equipment, answered all of my questions and went above and beyond in adjusting and fixing an issue I had with my projector. They were very professional and respectful of our home during the time they were here. The whole setup looks very professional. We really enjoy spending time watching sporting events and movies in our new theater. Great job guys.

The agents mounted my 75-inch tv and connected my 5-speaker surround system to it and hid all my wires by running them thru the walls via my attack. EXCELLENT & PROFESSIONAL job. I'd recommend them to anyone & would use them again!

Definitive wall speakers...wow what a difference from my old bose cubes. Surround sound is much better. Geek squad came out and installed flush mount wall speakers and not only do they sound much better but man do they look awesome! They did a fantastic job and that's why they keep getting called back to do more! I would definitely recomend geek squad to install your speakers and run wires.
