    Texas Home Pros Extremely Incompetent Workers

    The two workers they sent out to install the doorbell barely knew what they were doing. They had to ask me to get the instructions on how to install and I had to help at several points in the install process. If I had not assisted they would have screwed up several different installation steps. On top of all that these two workers wear sunglasses the entire time they work and almost the entire time they are working inside. They acted very clumsily and out of it; I was pretty sure they had both taken some form of drugs before getting to my appointment that day. Overall stear clear of these clown installers and try and get anyone else besides Texas Home Pros own installers.

    Installer was in such a hurry, they told me they could not hook up door bell camera to door bell , they hv to put ring camera next to door bell

    If i could give zero stars I would. Thus far this experience has been a nightmare. I paid for the Totaltech service and I feel like I've been scammed. The third party company they sent made the excuse that they couldn't install my cameras due to wifi connections but he didn't even try. Then he didn't have the tools to install my Ring doorbell correctly so he drilled holes in my door to install it and it's falling off. I've been trying to get someone else to come and install the items correctly for weeks but I keep getting the run around. I've been told on more than 1 occasion that a supervisor will contact me but I never receive a call back. I've been put on hold for 45 minutes only to have the phone disconnected. This is the worse experience I have had and thus far the Totaltech service has been a nightmare and NOT a service AT ALL.

    Dry poor service. Geek Squad person had a lot of trouble with getting the chime to work. Actually even searched through Google to figure out ! I would expect geek squad folks to know such simple tasks

    Technician was great, knowledgeable, and professional. Trying to reschedule an appointment for him to come back to finish setup of equipment has been impossible. The Geek Squad telephone service center is a waste of time. I was on hold forever only to be told that they never installed a ring service for me. I was amazed that they could have such a terrible customer service. I gave them my order number and the name of my technician. They still said they couldn't help me. I tried emailing my technician but no answer yet. 3 weeks and counting. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend a company with this kind of service.

This definitely is not the level of service we aim to give you. However, I completely understand your feedback. If you haven't already, I'd recommend connecting with your local Best Buy store as well. They may be able to see get in contact with the original agent quicker, especially if he works out of that store. I hope this helps!     The crew member didn’t particularly like the area I lived in. If you have certain prejudices I would recommend looking for another place of employment.

    Poor Scheduling Experience

    Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with the geek squad on this appointment. I waited over 2 weeks for my appointment and when my appointment day arrived no one called or showed up. I waited over 8 hours for the agent and when I called in was told the agent assigned wasn’t even working. I was called 2-3 hours later and asked to reschedule another 2 weeks out. A horrible experience and a waste of time.

    Free install with your Best Buy membership geek squad. Except they arrive and say only an electrician can do that. After the first technician recommended I purchase the floodlight instead of door bell and said it would be so much easier to do.
