... I hate double sided discs. There are scratches on the disc from being back to back in the case. Until this series gets the blu-ray treatment, I'm stuck watching the dvds. Surprisingly, this show still holds up and is hilarious.

This TV show brings back so many childhood memories.

Family type movies....whole family can watch it too.

The quality on this DVD collection is impressive even though its not HD at all. Great addition to anyone's collection for dirt cheap.

Picked it up for the wife to see and enjoy some old school tv. Miss seeing classic shows like this.

The set itself is underwhelming and the boxes offer no protection from scratching.

The episodes are all very enjoyable, however the title font size on each disc is very small and difficult to read if your eyesight isn't 20/20. Also the disc holders on all three cases came broken.

Package arrived on time, unfortunately it arrived in poor condition. Discs were damaged/scratched, packaging was damaged inside which likely led to damage to discs. Had to return to store only to find it could not be replaced or re-ordered...very disappointed. Definitely recommend the series, just be careful who you purchase it through as it is very difficult to replace if it arrives damaged like mine did.

The description said velvet packaging and it was not. Then the tabs that hold the discs in place were broken. I was very disappointed cause I like to collect the sets and this one was supposed to be a a collector edition velvet touch package.

My husband and I were not happy with some of the content. We have always liked The Munster's and was hoping we would enjoy these also. Some of the content for us personally seemed very dark and made us feel uncomfortable so we returned the set.

The box set came broken with a few discs loose. I would say it's still worth the price though.

Great getting to watch Addams Family when ever I want. Disc are clean and crystal clear a must have for 60’s TVs fan

The Addams Family doesn't seem to make the television rerun circuit nearly as often as the often-compared, but totally different in tone and humor, sitcom The Munsters. Even when it does, they are invariably the syndication prints which have been cut for time. The only previous release I was aware of that featured the original broadcast length prints sourced from the negatives were the 6 LaserDisc volumes published by Lumivision in the early 90's, which were admittedly pristine prints, but they stopped after only 24 episodes and there were no extras. Well, MGM came to the rescue several years ago with this box set that presents all 64 episodes in their original broadcast length prints in fantastic quality considering both their age (the negatives had aged at least another 15 years since a Lumivision used them for the LD releases) and the fact that ownership has changed hands several times in the decades since the Addams Family first entered probably somewhat perplexed at first U.S. Television viewers' homes. Best of all, MGM went all out with the extra features including the surviving members of the cast. Bought it during a 50% off sale, but this box set is worth every penny of its full retail price. You just can't go wrong with the Addamses!

Great addition to a collection of Classic tv shows

Purchased this recently, after having not seen it since it appeared on TV after school back in the mid sixties. It was every bit as great as I remembered it to be. Very few sitcoms today are actually funny. However I was laughing the very first episode that played. I realize that this is not in blue ray and it is shot in black and white, but there is something about the black & white that makes the house and characters spookier. I just couldn't be happier with my purchase. It is great to relive on of my all time favorite programs again!

The Addams Family is a classic tv show, and here it a box set of the complete series. It's a strange show, but and probably a little bit ahead of its time, but has great jokes and a great cast. Way better than The Munsters! This collection has the entire series. The dvd extras are a bit weak. There are a few commentaries with the actors that played Wednesday, Pugsley, and Cousin Itt, and a show biographer, but there really isn't anything extraordinary about them. I would suggest skipping them unless you are a die-hard fan. Overall, this is a great set.

This is a wonderful, funny show; it's a piece of our American History, and I love it! :)

So glad to see this show on dvd. Have waited a long time for this. Must watch this classic show. If you enjoyed any of the classic 60's shows, like the munsters, then you will love this show.

Purchased this DVD set because I really enjoyed watching the Addams Family on re-runs after school when I was a kid. Good, clean, family entertainment that my family has enjoyed. Good packaging.
