    I had my new TV, speakers, and home theater setup all installed by the Geek Squad. I'm usually pretty cheap and like to do it all myself, but I'm glad that after spending all the money I did on the products that I had professionals install it. They did a great job.

    The techs set up the TV but had a bit of a problem having my older wired sound bar and Blu-ray player to communicate with each other. I wound up having to use 3 or 4 remotes to get what I wanted. A few days later when I set up my Google account and added an app, I couldn’t get the cable TV to display. Called Geek Squad. They walked me through a troubleshooting process ( a workout going back and forth behind and in front of the TV , pulling out and plugging in, then playing with the remotes). My sound system is old, so it’s finicky connecting to everything. After about 30 min, everything was working well. The tech I called gave me a heads up to reboot everything (especially my cable box) whenever there’s an app update. They were very helpful. And I’m getting used to this Smart TV. I’m down to using 2 remotes, now. If I want to watch a dvd, then I’ll have to use a third remote to control the Blu ray player. No worries….I’m streaming more, now.

    I paid the extra money to have the Geek Squad deliver and setup my newly purchased TV. It was worth it! Two members of the Squad arrived at my house during the scheduled time frame. They were vey courteous, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all of my questions

    First he removed the non-operational television from my bedroom, then relocated and hooked up the my smaller television from my living room into my bedroom. Then he brought in my new 75" television and surround system, installed them and ensured everything worked as intended even with the Cox contour universal remote control. Once everything was working he took all of the boxes and trash leaving my home looking like he was never there. He had a great positive attitude, answered all our questions and wore his face mask at all times while ensuring he maintained social distancing during the entire process. Will definitely use the Geek Squad set up services again when purchasing new products requiring installation and set up!

    Geek squad guys did a great job installing, however we were surprised that we had to pay extra for the power cord to be put in the wall. The guys promised follow up e-mails with tips and phone numbers. Nothing arrived. We called and found nothing but frustration with Best Buy's customer service. Letters were written, still no response. Terrible customer service!

    I like the all in one smart remote, but if you happen to buy something new, or to replace an item, you most likely would have to pay for someone to come out and reprogram the device. Sometimes I get a delay from device when I turn off my TV, and sometimes it takes as long as 10 mins or so to turn off. I worry about on how long that takes. It just might be my projection TV.
