Poor Post Installation Service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had an electric dryer installed in May. The vent became detached a couple months later. After waiting two weeks for a Geek Squad service appointment, instead of clamping the hose on, the tech taped it on. Of course, in a matter of weeks, the hose became detached again and was blowing lint inside the house as well as heating/steaming up our laundry room. When calling to make yet another appointment for service, I was told someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours to schedule. After 9 days passed with no call, I contacted them again and was told there was no estimate for when they might be able to schedule an appointment (meaning it would be longer than 2 weeks). At this point, because the dryer is still under the Samsung warranty, the Geek Squad customer service rep suggested I have Samsung come address the issue. Mind you, there was no issue with how the dryer itself was functioning. The issue was with Best Buy/Geek Squad installation. I got service from Samsung within a week. 5+ months after delivery, I believe my dryer is finally installed properly, no thanks to Geek Squad.

This is the fifth installer that has come to my home. He was not a TV technician. He was a repair man that repaired appliances. He knew nothing about televisions. Unbelievable.

Questioning Total Tech membership

Never installed, brought broken item, could never speak to the store. Still being charged. Have called foreign customer service 12 times with no result. I contacted the CEO, no response.
