NO ONE SHOWED UP. NO ONE. NOT ONE PERSON.
NO ONE EVEN CALLED UNTIL 5:30PM.
I CALLED TWICE DURING THE DAY. "ALL IS WELL" I WAS
TOLD.
I WAITED ALL DAY. THE WHOLE DAY SPENT WAITING LIKE
A FOOL.
THIS HAS HAPPENED ALREADY ONCE FOR THIS SAME

Broke down with a new computer and had Geek Squad switch everything over and set it all up, including second monitor. First time all done, three days later monitors started cutting out. Second trip, fixed for four days. Went to Best Buy to get someone out again. First wanted me to pay, again! Then said they’d send someone. Two weeks later, no show. Monitors all screwy, can only use one, no second or system crashes. Very unhappy, tossed $100 in the trash.

After a lot of frustration with a relatively complex home network setup, I called the Geek Squad guys out to try and sort the problems out. Not only did they fail to fix the problems that I showed them, they also left me with no network access from my media server and lost my mappings to my NAS drives, both of which were working before they came. When I emailed to say how disappointed I was, their response began "we are sorry you are upset" ... disappointed and upset are NOT the same thing, so I guess we have to add "patronizing" to "ineffective" and "disappointing"

I have had the geek squad for a couple of years now and I am very happy with the technicians that come to my house in this case it was about my computer and printer and I have always used David during Covid to present day. He is a very outstanding, personable, professional, Knowledgeable employee when it comes to computers. I highly recommend his customer service to anyone. The one thing that I am not happy with how now we have to pay for service on top of the service that we had the prior year. I wish y’all would go back to the old type of Billing it was more reasonable to the consumer especially during these times or prices have gone up due to inflation.

Geek Squad Installation of my Living Room & Office

There are two excellent Geek Squad professional technicians that are my favorites. Steven and Patrick have installed my television, my sound bar and all of my items for my home office. They were each proficient and polite and presented me with better ideas based on them listening to me about how I wanted to use each item. Based on the experiences I have had with those two gentleman, I would highly recommend the Geek Squad services - especially if I had little or no installation experience.

We had had some issues with a previous install by the same tech for an internet mesh extender system. An attached box was sending out conflicting systems, but could not be powered off without deactivating our alarm system. The tech was able to reprogram the box in our basement in a manner which mitigated the problem, and both our alarm system as well as the internet mesh extenders are working great!

Mike Ice was my trouble shooter in hooking up the components of my computer. He was patient and detailed in walking me through how to use various app. The significant part of his service is that he is not a shower, but takes time to require politely that I do it myself with his monitoring on the side to make sure I've got it. This is like a teacher who cares for his student, in this case, a customer who is dummier than dummies. I appreciate Mike very, very much. -John Wong

Brian is the best!! He calls the evening prior to confirm our meeting. I also receive a text or call to inform me when he is expected to arrive. Best of all, Brian has exceptional customer service and technical skills as well as follows up and follows through on the work he performs. I request him every time I have in home service on my laptop and PC and will continue to do so.

The Great, and the Awful, with Geek Squad

The Geek squad SUPERSTAR tech who figured out the software issues involved in installing my new Xerox color multi-function printer was terrific. The first tech Geek squad sent looked at the machine, said he did not know what to do, and left. Getting in touch with the Geek Squad via telephone was a nightmare. I can't recall the number of agents I spoke to in Central and Northern South america, where Best Buy has off shored the work. I was finally take care of by an agent in the country of Panama. So, a FIVE STAR RATING for the SUPERSTAR TECH. Best Buy's telephone service--a near ZERO, not even a one star. And the first tech they sent? An embarrassment.

My agent was Brett and he is the nicest agent I ever had. He really helped me with my security cameras and charged and mounted my camera that was too high for me to reach. He returned the next day to mount it back up to the outside of my home. Couldn't have done it on my own. Thank you so much.

Austin fixed the problem of my HP printer not speaking to my Dell tower and showing up on my Sceptre Monitor so I could use my Dell keyboard and mouse to copy, scan, and fax from the printer. He is so nice and doesn't make me feel like a computer illiterate old lady...even if I am!

Justin Jensen is wonderful. He is so helpful and kind. My dog loves him! Justin is so knowledgeable, he makes it easy to upgrade my TV’s and internet provider. Life is lovelier when Jason fixes things too. I can’t say enough good things about him!

My agent reset my printer . The printer has been an issue since I bought it and he explained to me how to reset it. He also helped set up and deal with my Morgan Stanley account. He was patient and very knowledgeable about managing my issues.
