I'm helping a friend and her teenage son set up their own YouTube channels. There are some free online options, but they can be pretty limiting. On the advice of a colleague who used to work in the movie business and now creates corporate videos, I purchased Photoshop Elements and couldn't be happier. It's easy to use and offers plenty of other features as your skills grow. I'd buy it again.

I love Adobe's prosumer applications as sometimes I need additional capabilities over that of the standard OS applications, but am not willing to pay for/do not need the full-featured Adobe CC suite. Also, this software works on both Windows PCs and Macs. The "Elements" package is released every year, so be sure to look out for the latest version when you decide to purchase.

Works as advertised. Easy to use. Lot of nice features.

got the newest version of this program and still navigating thru the differences from the oder version. i use mainly the photoshop for creating graphics presentation and these features have not changed. the most changes i see seem to be in the photo editing and organizing. so i can see a novice or my daughter having fun using this.

I got this prodocut to edit some of my wedding photos that I got from various people that took pictures. There is unlimited possibilities as to how you can edit your photos! Yes it does take time and patience to learn but there are easy, basic ways to make changes. You can also make greeting cards, calendars, collages etc...

This is more if your a beginner in both software I feel I may need this because I’m amateur. I hate waisting product so I’m reaturning my unused package and getting Signing up for a membership instead... more features... I think this is perfect if your just starting though. I’m a student so the membership price isn’t to bad for me right now. Wish me luck guys

I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 sine that version came out. I needed an update to take advantage of innovations that have been introduced. I was not anxious to be a monthly subscriber. I am pleased with the seamless transition and ease with which to master the upgrades.

All the basic photo editing capabilities are there, and Premier lets you create videos fairly easily. The organizer function looks a bit dated and is pretty clunky though. It takes forever to load, and tasks like naming people can really bog down, even on a Core i7 machine. Worse, it can't play (or even display) certain types of videos, like 4K or slow-motion. The stock Windows Photos app is far superior, so I just use that to browse my library. All in all, I think the package is okay, but there are $5 phone apps that can do a lot of what this can (except the video).

This program does most of what I want to do with editing my photos, and is a lot cheaper than the full version of Photoshop. It is also easy to used, and has many automated features, for those who want quick and easy edits.

Love using Photoshop Elements. It's cost effective if you don't need the full version of Adobe Photoshop. It's easy to eliminate backgrounds, add or deduct people to a photo, and enhance photos. I am just learning to use the Premiere Elements. Easy!

We,ve been using this product to edit & organize old photo files and to make dvds of recent trips & excursions. Fairly easy to use, and has good edit options. Happy that we were able to find this program as a cd & not have to download a subscription.

I have read a lot of bad reviews about photoshop elements 2019. I like it does a good job cleaning up my photos and making them look better. I don't dig very deep and crazy stuff with it, but for what I do it works well.

I've been using Photoshop for the last 15 years. Though it's complicated if you don't know much about photo editing, there are ample books and video tutorials to teach you how to use the program and get the look you want from your work.

I like this product because it offers the most used functionality of the premium package, photoshop CC, at an affordable price. I also do not like subscriptions in general although I do understand that if you operate a business, cash flow is an issue and it makes more sense. I also like getting both the photo editing and video editing products together at an incremental increase over either of the single products. I got this on sale so this was an excellent deal. Although you can get other products cheaper, this is the most widely accepted standard. I have purchased this product before but I have not had a chance to compare the functionality with the past products. I try to keep up with products every so often so as not to become obsolete. There are much better reviews elsewhere on the web.

Adobe Photo Elements & Premiere Elements 2019 software is easy to use and does the majority of photo editing and video editing a non professional photographer seeks without the cost and learning curve of the full Adobe Photoshop software.

This cost a little bit more money than some others I looked at. However, this product did the job and also it can make a slide show for you and then allows you to tweek it to you liking. This was recommended to me and happy I did it.

Was literally about to chuck my PC until I realize its a software issue. Premiere element 12 just could not handle 1080p/4k footage as the 2019 version! save so much time :)

Good for beginners. I've had minimal experience with these programs, but caught on as I used it more. Works great on my Macbook Pro.

I've owned the previous versions and had to upgrade in order work with High Sierra. I only use the basics and am satisfied with it. If you have used the previous versions, you won't be disappointed.

PREMIER ELEMENTS Usually, I frown at changes to the interface of a product I am used to because of the inevitable learning curve but the new streamlined quick edit mode interface of Premiere Elements is just plain easier. Adding music and applying titles to a simplified timeline is a time saver. One of the most frustrating experiences in editing a video to me is trimming parts that are uninteresting. Premier Elements 2019 automatically trimmed those parts for me. Ok, not entirely true. I still had to remove a lot but I can say that it removed between 60 to 75 percent, give or take, of an 87-minute video I shot during Halloween. The time it saved me was no joke. Although I did have a few issues with the future, the automatic face detection is extremely useful. I enjoy the 50 musical scores you can add to your video and the ability to match audio with the length of the clips. Cool! PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS I can’t say that I don’t miss its big brother, Photoshop Pro CC but a starting $21 dollar subscription only makes sense if photo editing is part of your daily work and life. However, Photoshop Elements has most of the features an average photographer needs and is a bargain. For new users, the 50+ guides - or wizards – is like having a tutor next by your side. Two new features I noticed and liked was a select tool that lets you turn any part of your image into a sketch and a multi-photo text. The latter allows you to insert different pictures behind letters in a word. As to performance, I am a bit confused. On one of my computers, both Photoshop Elements 2019 and Premier Elements 2019 outperformed the 15 version. However, on a second computer, they performed slightly worse. One computers uses an Intel i7, 8th generation processors with a GTX 1080 graphics card. The other is an Intel i5 with a GTX 1060. The performance difference was seen on the i5 but please bear in mind that I am comparing both versions of the software on the same computer. Of course, performance is always better on the i7 but that is not the point here. My guess is that Adobe has optimized the 2019 version for the i7 but not for the i5 generation that I have. It could be an anomaly on my system though. Apart from the performance issue I experienced above which was not that big since I will be using both apps on the better computer anyway, I was happy with the changes and overall experience.
