Since I only unpacked this a few days ago it is too early to say much but I figure I can go back and add once I start harvesting. The first one I ordered was defective--the up/down arrows would not respond. I still am not wild about the way the buttons and commands operate. It is fine if you want to use the pre-sets, but if you want to change the on/off time it is not so simple. Because of Covid, customer service at AeroGarden was not reachable by phone and trying to explain by email is a chore. The machine itself is classy and space-saving and I hope I will get a good harvest. There is no recycling code on the plastic seed pods so that is disappointing and I wish they could be re-used with only inserting replacement seed medium into them. A product like this should be as Earth-friendly as possible. Same for liquid food in plastic container--powder with a bamboo measuring spoon would be better.

So far 5 out of 6 have sprouted. Very easy to use and fast delivery!!

OK, I am not a gardener. I don't even like mowing the lawn. I bought this for my wife for Christmas. We set it up and put the seed pods in. I find myself stopping and looking at the plants every time I walk past. Once they sprout they grow so fast it almost seem like if you sat and watched, you would see them grow. Very soon we will have salad greens.

I’m impressed with how quickly plants grow on this. After the first round of lettuce harvest, I decided to get a self-watering raised garden to transplant the plants. I now use the Aerogarden to start the plants (from seeds) and transplant them to the raised garden in about 3 weeks. I bought the “plant any seed kit” from their website and use any seed sources.

This thing works great for growing plants and herbs. So well in fact that we couldnt keep up with what was growing. It added a great touch to the room however be warned the light often runs past bedtime or morning so if it can be seen from your bedroom it sucks

Great seed-starting system. Instructions were not comprehensive. The lettuce bunches are big enough after 3 weeks to harvest, or transplant to window boxes like I plan to do. The lettuce doesn't look like the pictures. I just bought an heirloom herb refill to continue my garden. It is very bright so place and plan accordingly.

I have purchased two of these units for myself and another two as gifts for others which were well received. I used my first unit for almost a year with great results, so just setting up my second Harvest Elite system now. I do also have a Sprout. I prefer the Elite due to the slim styling and the advanced features. I travel often and the vacation setting is utilized often and my garden still thrives. The Elite is best for taller items due the height adjustment having more room, compared to my Sprout. I am simply obsessed now with having fresh lettuce and herbs in my kitchen. I do not have a green thumb and having an outdoor garden wouldn’t be feasible for my skill set, so I love that these units are fool-proof and soil free. I have my garden set to illuminate in the evening, as I enjoy the peaceful ambient lighting in my kitchen at nighttime and often don’t need to utilize the overhead lights when grabbing a snack or drink. There is a large assortment of seed kits available, including flowers or make your own, to meet the needs of everyone.

Easy to set-up. Easy to use. Initial lettuce is growing well.

This is an early Christmas gift for myself! I picked it up a little over three weeks ago, along with the package of herbs, and some began sprouting by the end of the first week. All six are growing well now and look very healthy. They aren't ready for harvest quite yet, but should be by Christmas. I love this product and it is so easy!

Love this hydroponic garden. I can now grow lettuce year round. The ad indicates it is an herb garden but it came with petunia pods. You can buy mixed lettuce and herb pods from a very popular online shopping platform. Its fun to watch the condensation droplets form on the plastic domes and see the water bubbling. Great for kids.

Easy to set up--the hardest part is waiting for the salad to grow. This is a great way to incorporate healthy greens into your diet. Had some on a sandwich today. 11/10 would recommend. Two of the pods didn't germinate though, which was disappointing. I've reached out to Aerogarden customer support to see if they'll replace them.

I bought this item as a Father's Day present. I do not have a green thumb but with this I don't plant vegetables or anything has become quite easy. It is helped me quite a bit and I love this item. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to plant anything.. And you cannot go wrong with the prices.

This is a keeper. I love how the included pods are ready to plant out of the box. I started growing 3 days ago and I have already have sprouts on all six pods! Its really is that easy! I would love for this have app connectivity but for the price I can't complain.

I love this! I have had my garden just a short time and you will be amazed at how fast you can harvest. Lettuce grows so fast. I have a cheaper version as well. The AeroGarden is better. It tells me when to add water and nutrients. I really believe anyone could grow with this indoor garden,

So far, so good, all 6 lettuce pods have sprouted and are growing very fast. We are looking forward to having fresh lettuce at our fingertips for the winter. Have placed the item in the laundry room because the lights are bright and on for about 16 hours a day.

Great for anyone who wants to start gardening but doesn't have the space or time. I highly recommend the pods that allow you to use your own seeds because the packages AeroGarden sells are pretty limited. Overall great product and potential gift to a friend or family member.

I wanted to grow herbs but using this slim unit. I am having good success by looking in YouTube and other places, but included documentation is quite basic and not enough at least if you do not want to just put the starter seeds that they gave. I feel it’s a delight to use.
