Purchased as a Black Friday Gift ($99.00 from $219.00) for myself and have loved every minute of it! We had successful sprouts within the first two weeks and now, roughly 2 months in, can harvest from the Salad side about every 7-10 days while the herbs side is under 7 days! Recommend getting a few different pods to try what you really like as something will differ in use! Overall set up is simple and the screen makes sure you don't miss watering, adding fertilizer, or keeping track of other metrics!

I purchased the AeroGarden to grow herbs, but because my set came with salad seeds I gave that a try. Wow! You can almost watch the salad grow. After a week, four of the pods grew at least an inch tall, and after a couple of weeks we were able to harvest very delicious salad. Two of the six pods never germinated, but I was actually glad this was the case as the other 4 pods grew so fast and took up all available space. The light height adjustment mechanism seems a bit flimsy, but I hope it will last.

This indoor garden system is easy to setup and use. It does not take up much room just can sit it on the counter top. I got it for a nice price too. Later I will try grow some tomatoes on it.

I am OBSESSED with this!! I received the wrong pods, in my box, but I didn't mind. I am watching my cascading petunias, planted 12 days ago, grow. They are seedlings, currently, but I lopk at them every day because they literally grow each day! A coworker had purchased some pods and had me curious. I like this aero garden a lot. It is the perfect size for where I wanted to place it, as well! Hoping to put the petunias in the ground, after the last frost and start my heirloom greens salad mix, afterward. I bought many additional pods!

Two and a half months in, and plants have grown great! We did a mix of lettuce and herbs (3 different lettuce, and 3 different herbs). They great really well, and even a few days faster than anticipated on each. Really simple to use, just follow the instructions, refill water and plant food (provided) as necessary. You'll need to eat/trim the plants somewhat regularly as they grow big and fast once they get going! I like the lettuce we grew, but will probably stick to herbs primarily in the future. Its great just to have fresh herbs on hand!

I absolutely love the aerogarden! You really don’t need a green thumb at all. Just fill it with water, add 2 capfuls of the included fertilizer, and pop the pods in the holes. Every plant sprouted and I was starting to harvest after only about a month. Everything is automatic and basically foolproof. The controls are simple and easy to use and it tells you when you need to add water or fertilizer. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!

We've grown petunias, herbs, and tomatoes so far. The basil and tomatoes quickly outgrow the max height. Still a great product, though.

What a great addition to any kitchen! This slim AeroGarden was a perfect fit in my kitchen. Streamlined enough to easily fit on the counter - and the whole family loves watching things grow! It is so much fun to harvest and eat our own fresh food. Very easy to setup, start, grow, and clean. Definitely a great purchase!

The AeroGarden came with everything needed and was very easy to set up. The lettuce is growing and almost ready for pruning. I'm looking forward to enjoying a salad with the varieties of lettuce I've grown. I haven't tried any other pod varieties (herbs, flowers), but if they are like the Heirloom Salad pods I have every confidence they'll grow well.

I love my AeroGarden! You can quickly grow whatever you want with minimal maintenance.

Great gift that I gave to all my kids! They loved it!

This has been such an awesome present for my significant other which has, in return, been awesome for me! We first planted lettuce which we used frequent until their center got old. We currently have herbs growing which have been wonderful to use in cooking --we also trim the excess growth and dry them to save in jars. Great little project for the two of us.

I was going to send my Mom flowers for the holidays and then I got this crazy idea to send a garden instead. So it loving it. We get daily progress reports back. And the flowers are every bit as beautiful as the product pics. Blooms everywhere. Easy to set up and use (even for an elderly lady with vision problems and arthritis.) I'd highly recommend it.

My bf is always trying to grow something so I bought him this for Christmas. He loves it. It works very well. We had an overgrowth of lettuce in no time. We couldn't eat it fast enough. I will say though it's probably best to try and plan for the light time being in the day while you're up, because it is quite bright

WE LOVE THIS PRODUCT. super easy to set up. Only disappointment was that 3 of the 6 pods were duds and didn't grow.

A neat little hydroponic unit which fits in a small space. Everything about it is easy to do and it's fun to watch the cute little sprouts develop. Units like this would be great for shut-ins who can't get out to garden. My family is looking forward to enjoying the several herbs that are planted, and doing great.

I’m only giving 4 stars since I’ve just set these up (I purchased 3). I’ll update once my plants grow and produce. FYI the lights are super bright! I believe an airplane could see these lights for landing ;). Was easy to set up once I got the directions online. Directions are not included. My wife and I enjoyed setting it up and watching the salad grow until we eventually harvested it for a couple of salads. It seems like a lot of time for a salad, but it was a good, fresh salad and the growing part was part of the entertainment. Very bright at night. Have not set it up to grow again after a couple of months but we indend to do it soon.

This is my 6th Aerogarden. In the Harvester series the Slim is my favorite. It stretches things out and gives the plants a little more room to grow. Its easy to use and there is a group on line to give you added support if you run into any problems. I warn you, if you buy one you won't stop there. They are addictive!

It was easy to set up and maintain. The plants grow remarkably fast. Be prepared to transplant them elsewhere as if you have a plant in each of the six spots, there won't be room for them all. Also, it would be nice if the light could be raised higher, as that too is a reason you'll need to transplant (or prune aggressively. But overall, very happy with it.
