Too quiet. Counterproductive in my opinion.

I appreciate the emphasis on safety and awareness of one’s surroundings but I’ve found the irritation factor due to never really hearing what I’m trying to hear so high that I wonder what the point is in wearing headphones that are basically soundless. When I use them on runs in the country or wooded areas without as much traffic noise they work, but they are advertised as useful when navigating traffic so that exception is really moot. The fact that they come with earplugs to make it easier to hear music says it all in my opinion.

Great for outdoor (and indoor) exercise

Can crank the volume and not injure your ear drums as they don’t transmit sound via your ear drums. Better sound than my airpods gen1, my Powerbeats pro wireless and Beats flex. So after a year they died. I contacted customer service for possible repairs. Instead they said mail them in and we will mail you a new one! They emailed me a UPS shipping label. I shipped them back and they shipped me a new one! (I believe they have a two year warranty.)
