Old ones great new ones janky
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Old were loud and fit well. I got a pair a year later. Let me rewind. I got the $160 mac daddy ones and returned them because they were basically..... headphones. They blocked most ambient noise. I had something traumatic happen and I want to know when you are walking behind me. The aero ones canceled about 70% ambient noise. Sound a lot better though, bass sure. Fit closer to your ear bc they’re flat compared to these and the $119 where they are more bud shaped. These original trekz were louder... I swear. And fit better. My replacement pair was so faint at top volume it was ridiculous I’m sitting here returning them now for the mid Range. Point blank, if you want good sound and blocked ambient nose get the aero $160. If you want less high sound care more about your surroundings get the $80 ones here. Titanium. They are not as comfy and slide off bc they’re not as flexible and don’t mold, say if you throw something around your neck the others mold and don’t throw the headphones out of place. If you find the ambient noise feature really appealing don’t be fooled by the high dollar ones bc they are almost like regular headphones. Block out the sound of people walking behind you but not large buses and cars. $80 vibrate and ppl can hear your music on loud. $160 don’t and people can’t hear your music on medium loud from 3ft away. I hope that helped some people. I actually just returned the new titataniums bc they are not the same quality as the d and am trying the mid grade $119 air.

Easily breaks
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The face covering for the speaker fell off about a month later. I didn't get the warranty and it is almost impossible to get ahold then maintain the customer support agent to assist. I still haven't had them replaced by the manufacturer. I do not exercise much to say it was sweat damage.

my test of Aftershokz
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The packaging for this item is more than enough to protect it from damage in shipping. Very well packaged. The advertised items included were there and ready for use. The head phones were easy to pair and ready to go right out of the box. I got them in use right away. The sound quality is fabulous. They seem to have plenty of base which normally is not found in head phones. I enjoyed the sound quality the most with out ear plugs in. With ear plugs in the sound seemed muffled sort of like being under water but after a few minutes that feeling subsided. With the ear plugs not in the sound was the best. But at higher volumes people around me could hear the music. In no way was I able to hear someone next to me and talk to them with music playing. I removed them every time. The quality seemed high end and durability is excellent. I did plenty of work with these on and they were comfortable and had flawless sound. I let my teenage daughter and her friends try them for a few days and they loved them. This is a review for the AfterShokz Trekz Titanium Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Wait until better tech is available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bone conduction technology has been around for a while. However, the tech in these particular headphones is not good. The quality of the audio is poor and for phone conversations the audio can be heard by people standing around you. I would wait until a better brand comes out with a competing pair of headphones.

Don’t waste your money or time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible sound. I loved the concept, my teenager could listen to music while still being able to hear what is going on around him... however that was far from reality. He could not hear anything on them. We returned them instantly for the Beats.
