If you like to laugh, then you will love this movie. If you don't have it on blu-ray it's time to pony up and buy it. I don't care if you have it on VHS (what are you doing still watching VHS btw?), laserdisc, hd DVD, and/or DVD, this movie is so good you will WANT to buy it in the best format possible. Run, don't walk to Best Buy! You can thank me later.

A classic , irreverent comedy movie with side-splitting puns and sight gags. It's hilarious to see dramatic actors such as Leslie Nielsen, Robert Stack, Peter Graves and Lloyd Bridges do comedy. The improved Blu-ray video is a must compared to the standard dvd but it could have been better. You should surely buy this movie......and don't call me shirley.

Filled with puns, the comedy is one of the great comedies from the eighties. It is hard to explain, but is much like the Naked Gun comedies. It is a perfect movie to add to any collection as it can be watched over and over. Unlike some comedies, it doesnt lose its flair after being watched. While watching this movie, I could not stop laughing the first, second, or even tenth time!

This is one of the first great slap stick comedies. Excellent movie with Leslie Nielson - what else do you need? Corny Special Effects ( What did you expect from the 80's) but almost like they did them that corny on purpose. I couldn't pass this movie up when I saw it on the holder. I started wondering why I waited so long to buy it....

I remember watching this when I was younger and now I'm in my thirties, and Airplane is funnier because I can understand the "Adult Humor".

One of the greatest comedies of all time which has loads of replay value. The bluray transfer has crisp definition with lots of healthy grain. Really looks great for a Paramount catalog title.

Airplane is the pinnacle spoof/parody movie. that is done so well it can stand on its own as a quirky comedy.
