    The movie itself is excellent (or so I hear.) The issue is that my copy did not come with a digital Funimation code, as advertised on the back of the box. Along with that, the 4K disc apparently is not HDR, also as advertised. After doing a google of the digital code issue, I didn't find an answer, but I did find out through a reddit thread that the disc is not HDR, and that evidently you need to email Funimation to have them send you a new 4K HDR disc that wont come until around February of 2021. As for my digital code issue, nothing about that was said but I asked them about it in the same email to see if I could get both issues fixed. The link containing the info can be found here: https://www.funimation.com/blog/2020/12/22/akira-4k-hdr-disc-replacement-how-to-limited-edition/ You'll need to email them your name, address, email, and proof of purchase (or a picture of the disc) so don't toss your receipt, you'll need it. Annoying release. Again, great movie (so I hear, haven't watched it yet,) but really really annoying release to have to deal with.
