Classic and groundbreaking film when it came out. Aged well. Read the manga also to get the experience. The visuals push you to the limits.

Anyone who truly knows a thing or two about anime knows this is THE title with the most Prestige behind it.. do yourself a favor and watch this if u haven’t already.

Not sure why I've waited this long to own AKIRA, but I'm glad I grabbed this edition. One of the best anime in 4k. Great package and presentation as well.

While at BestBuy randomly one day my son spotted this set and was ecstatic because he LOVES Akira, well now it's been Akira on repeat for the past few weeks. It's fine by me; I know almost every word now.

I purchased this item to have signed by the voice actor that played Kaneda! JYB was also the OG Black Ranger from the mighty morphin power rangers ! I love Akita though it is a classic anime.

If you love Anime then you’re already familiar with Akira. It’s a classic, so very easy to pick up especially on 4K.

This has always been a favorite of mine. It becoming a sale item was the deciding factor in my purchase. Ir you haven't seen it: Great and musical soundtrack. Excellent animation (vintage, but very good).

Even if you don’t like anime films this is the one you have to check out it’s kind of like the godfather of anime

Previous 4K release wasn’t in HDR, but this is. Major improvement. Highly recommended.

A must-see for anime enthusiasts. This techno anime is high action set in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo, with amazing illustrations, sound and story. The most expensive anime ever made in Japan.

This version of Akira has an HDR upgrade and it really shows. Vivid color and crisp detail make this a great release.

Best anime of all. This metal case is a must for any collectors... I own the U.K. SteelBook, but love how this 'MetalPak' has title and character embossing on the front. Comes with a 32-page booklet.

I was not disappointed by this film. I 100% recommend watching this if you haven't seen it. A 2 hour experience of cyber punk Tokyo that kept my interest. Not to mention it has 3 discs and special features.

One of the best anime films comes out on blu ray and it looks absolutely stunning. The clarity and the beauty in the animation is just amazing. Don't miss this awesome science fiction thriller.
