The classic akira finally on blu ray and it looks great, you get both DVD and blu ray and lots of extra features. Just wish it wasn't $24.99

Classic anime film, one of the first films that got me into Japanese anime

If you haven't heard of Akira then you're doing everything wrong. Akira is a MUST for any fan of anime. It's inspired plenty a movie and show. Do yourself a favor and get this movie.

i saw this about thirteen years when it first came out on dvd i was amaze about the animation and the mature story telling for a animated film , a must have for any anime on blu-ray .

Akira still holds up to any anime in the market. The story is very complex, but there are three audio tracks to help with the comprehension of the story.

This to me is one of the best anime movies ever made. This version on blu ray is fantastic. The Japanese soundtrack sounds outstanding on a good surround system!
