Another cool throw back for anime fans for sure had to buy it and was cheaper on here than Amazon!!

This is what I have been waiting for! They finally released Akira with the original audio track. It brings back the awe and wonder that I remember from the original film.

The 4K picture is beautiful. The audio comes with the original 1988 English dub, which is what I want.

Excellent. Classic. If you have not watched anime before, this is a great one to start with.

Picture quality for a non-HDR 4k is excellent. Easily the best this movie has ever looked. However, Funimation promised HDR on the package, but shipped a non-HDR disc. They have pledged to ship a refactored 4k disc with HDR once it is created, if you send them proof of purchase etc, so they are working to correct the mistake. The package ALSO stated there was a Funimation digital code inside, which was not in there either... but Funimation is NOT pledging to correct THAT error. Truth of it is, I am a physical copy person, so it is not that big of a deal... but the entire advertising v delivery is pretty bad on this one. Excellent 4k transfer regardless.

Incredible visuals and a good 1080p transfer make this a standout disc in your collection. It comes with 3 discs and is a great value.

This is the first anime film I've ever seen, and it is still the best. Mind blowing, confusing, and a visual treat; Akira is a film every anime fan should see.

The original and the best. Hard to stomach for some viewers, definitely not for children. This one gets intense and is still a fan favorite.

It had been almost ten years since I last saw this and I thoroughly enjoyed this remaster. I watched the second English dub and the original Japanese audio track.

I like this movie as it offers a great highly detailed cell animation. It was done before CGI but you would never be able to tell in the presentation.

Love this movie! Reminds me of my youth! Looks good on my 4K TV.
