I really enjoy this movie and was surprised at how clear the picture is considering the age of the film. A must-have for any anime fan!

Akira was a landmark in animation for its time, and remains a visual marvel today. A great lot is lost in adaptation from manga to anime, and its ending only confounds the more one attempts to dissect it, but at its heart is about a bond of friendship even in the face of an apocalyptic rift.

There was only one scene in the entire movie that I didn't care for. This anime is a great original work of art and would be a good addition to an anime library.

Classic movie!!! Still unmatched till this day!!! This is the movie that got me into Japanese anime!!!

This Steelbook is absolutely amazing. It has an extremely nice embossed design to it and the bluray move itself looks and sounds fantastic!

Listed as a steelbook, but really a v-pak. Very nice quality. It's best to buy two copies one to hide away in a vault and another to open.

One of the best anime's ive seen when I was younger. Bought it for $14 bucks. Great deal and great movie. So glad I could add this to my collection.

My all time favorite anime. The Blu Ray looks and sounds great, and having all three dubs (Japanese, Streamline, and Pioneer) is awesome.

Great flick. Had not watched it since I had it on laserdisc back in the 1990s. It still holds up compared to today's animation standards.

This was one of the first Anime features that I ever watched. The story line is still applicable today despite it being over 25 years since it came out.
