It's one of the best anime ever made and it's nice they work on the resolution making a even better picture.

First of its kind, mainstream anime. Changed the way American audiences saw Japanese "cartoons". Adult, gory, frightening and funny.

I have not watched the movie yet. I intend to gift it but the case is beautiful and will surely make the recepient happy

Still cant really grasp the movie as a whole. May have something to do with me not actually sitting down to watch it. I think its a great anime. I purchased the collectors case. Not too pleased with the spine design. the front has some nice embossing.

The steel embossed case looks fantastic! The three different audio tracks and improved visuals is like a cherry on top!

What can be said that hasn't already been said about this anime? It is one of the cornerstone films that ushered anime into mainstream interest. While the film is great, it is unfortunately, but necessarily abridged compared to the manga it is based on. Also, this is not for children.

great amazing classic anime looks great on bluray.

Akira is a classic that everyone should definitely watch. The cyberpunk theme is aesthetically pleasing to see unravel again on bluray.

A classic of a movie! They are replacing the discs with the HDR version.
