It was differently an upgrade over the cartoon. It is movie for the kids.

Good movie in 4k format recommended hope you get a chance to catch it

It's was pretty good but you can never beat Robin Williams as the genie.

This is one of the better live action update Disney has made for these princess movies. Jasmine is absolutely beautiful. Although i still prefer Robin Williams, Will Smith was able to made his own spin on genie. The addition of the handmaiden was good. If you still have good working version of the 90s Aladdin then you don't need to get this one. But if you have a growing child like i do who does not already have the animated version then this would be a wonderful add to their princess movie collection.
