Will Smith delivers! I was very surprised that this movie was done so well. Great job with a classic story adding some content but not taking away from the things that made the first cartoon version so good. The best part is Will Smith's "Friend like me" and subtle adds such as "Heard your princess is hot" in the "Prince Ali" song. The movie has turned into one of my favorites surpassing the original in my opinion.

Dolby Atmos has a few effects thrown in the beginning but kicks in towards the end. This is more of a front heavy sound mix. Picture quality is clear. Close-up shots are super detailed. The city as well as the costume textures equally great looking. As for the color palate it had a nice warm tone. This has HDR and some colors do pop off the screen. Better than the standard Blu Ray.

I love this movie. Its stays faithful to the animated film while adding to some new thing to make its own. Mena and Naomi are great in there roles and have great chemistry. The stand out is easily Will Smith and while he pays homage to Robin Williams he makes this part is own and he is great. The musical numbers are big and beautiful with great special effects. If you love the animated film then you will love this version.

I was not expecting to like this movie at all. I didn't think anyone could be as great as being the genie like Robin Williams was. I was wrong. Will Smith was awesome! He was very entertaining and funny as the genie. I loved his energy in the music selections he was a part of. I enjoyed watching Mena Massoud as Aladdin. This movie makes you want to get up and dance along with them. Great family movie!

I think my son is in love with Jasmin he keeps wiggling his eyebrows at her. He plays it over and over and over again. He is disabled and does get into repetition. Its such a GREAT movie that's its one I don't mind watching over and over to. wasn't sure I'd like Will Smith taking the Genie part after seeing Robin Williams. But its FANTASTIC, find myself singing along.

This was a great Animation to Live-Action transition. The film is beautifully littered with landscapes and colors featuring great performances from the Leads. I believed them as the characters Aladdin & Jasmine. It took a moment to get use to Will as the Genie but by the “Prince Ali” number, he’s sold you on his interpretation of the Genie while still paying homage to Robin with little Easter eggs.

Will Smith gives a valiant effort to live up to Robin Williams' Genie, but this movie lacked the charm of the animated version. I love Disney films, but their live action remakes have become lackluster, in my humble opinion.

I was a little skeptical when I heard this movie was being made because I couldn’t see anyone doing as good a job as Robin Williams but Will Smith did great. Of course, Robin will always be the best but Will Smith did an excellent job and made this his own genie. The rest of the cast did excellent and make me want to watch this over and over. I loved this movie. Highly recommend!!

I didn't realize this movie had so much singing in it. With all the music in it, I didn't like it so much. I should have known it was like a musical but I didn't. I feel like it will be a good movie for the kids.
