    I've been thinking about picking up a copy of Aladdin for a little while and decided to get this Steelbook. The artwork is a nice upgrade from the standard release. The "Aladdin" text on the cover is also recessed to give the case some nice texture instead of a plain flat front. The movie itself looks great on the 4k disc. Nice color reproduction. You can really see the details from the animator's drawings. The image will have thin black bars on the Left and Right of the screen. This is different than the previous blu-ray release which was a full 16x9 aspect ratio. The 4k disc uses a more "square" ratio which is how the movie was originally worked on by animators, so the viewer gets slightly more of the image in this release, which is very welcome and great to see.

    Disney transfers to 4k are never well done. Another case of that here.
