  • A Gorgeous Way to Watch a Classic

    When I was growing up my parents had a respectable collection of Disney movies on VHS. The last time I remember watching Aladdin was on VHS on my parents Sony CRT TV. Boy, was it an upgrade to watch a 4k blu-ray on a 65 inch 4k TV. I have always loved the movie but I could never appreciate the effort that went into the art until now, especially the backgrounds. This release looks like a 90 minute animated painting. You could pause this movie in almost any spot, print it on a large canvas and hang it on a wall. Since this is an UHD release it also has HDR and it's subtle (which I think is good with a classic like this) but it gives the colors a slightly richer hue. If you like this movie at all, this is by far the best way to watch it. I highly recommend it!
