It's a time portal to a place in your life with less stress and no responsibilities -- all in crystal clear HD! This allows you to do one of two, if both of these, things: 1) Relive a part of your life by watching something you think you sort of remember well but are inevitably taken back by how filled with stuff that was a bit to inappropriate for a young, impressionable mind & 2) Construct that very same questionable, but absolutely amazing, foundation for a new generation. And Heck... it has Robin Williams in it -- it's him at his best. Don't over think this one. Buy it for in-store pick up and grab on your way home tonight.

The kid inside you will looove this movie! This movie is no diamond in the rough; it's highly polished entertainment. A timeless fantasy tale we all grew up with, but yet so funny and as musical and magical as any DIsney movie. You'll laugh even harder again hearing the late Robin Williams' machine gun patter that could not have been written by even the best screenwriter. Genie charms the viewer with his slapstick banter and transmogrifying abilities, but he knows when to dial it down and speak from the heart when his new-found BFF Aladdin needs his help. Great for a household of kids looking for a new favorite movie to watch on family night or a quiet "this one's for the kid in me" viewing.

In my humble opinion, this is one of the best animated musicals of all time from Disney. The animation is top notch. The melodies of all the songs are engaging and singable. The genius of Robin Williams is what makes the first of the three movies in this series shine in its witty humor and pace. An animated Romeo and Juliet where two hearts find common dreams and desires and fight against the establishment. A brilliant antagonist hungry for power (royal Vassir) . A reluctant comical villain who really is a good parrot in the end, adds an unexpected comic flavor to the mix. The choreography and musical score is phenomenal.truly one of the best of all time from Disney!
