I love this movie. It’s one of my top 5 Disney movies. This is a perfect disc. Picture and audio are unbelievably vibrant. Several moments I literally paused the movie to look at the details. Just amazing. Highly recommend

This is my third copy of this particular Aladdin. I now have the blu-ray, 3D blu-ray and now the 4K. In my opinion, the colors are very bright and the surround sound was great. This was a great addition to my collection!

A spectacular movie, released in a beautiful steelbook! Aladdin (animated) features stellar casting and the classic songs you remember, with some of the best animation in cinema. A must-have volume for any Disney fan!

Genie voiced by Robin Williams, with lots of impersonation lines. Very funny. Great picture and sound. Because of the age, there is slight letter boxing to the sides of the picture (not above and below it).

Classic. Got it on sale because Best Buy will no longer be selling DVDs.

I for sure thought that this gem was going to be sold out the same week. Kind of how like the Little Mermaid sold out. Its a great film. Better than the new live version. Not necessary to get in steelbook.

This definitely a must have for any Aladdin fan. The picture is incredible and I love having a digital copy. The artwork on the case is the proverbial cherry on top. Overall this is absolutely awesome!

Aladdin will always be one of my all time favorite Disney movies. I watched it so much as a kid. I had to grab this steelbook when it came out. Plus, it's always a bonus to get a digital code with it.

Best Buy always does a great job with their steelbook packaging. This is a great collectors item. The signature edition includes beautiful HD versions of this timeless classic. Definitely a must-have!

As a Disney Pixar movie collector, I knew I had to get this steelbook when I first saw it. It has been many years since I watched Aladdin therefore I am excited to see how it looks in Blu Ray and 4k.

Watching now as I type, I saw Aladdin as a kid in the theater, and it has been one of my favorite Disney movies since. I can safely say, this new Blu-ray doesn't disappoint. Aladdin looks great in HD! The standard definition DVD looked good, but suffered from some noticeable compression artifacts when viewed on a 1080p TV, especially in the opening sequence. These issues are thankfully gone, allowing the colors to breathe with vibrancy and less of a "digital" appearance. Detail and sharpness are greatly improved; this is easily the best the film has ever looked. The audio has been upgraded to DTS-HD 7.1. Again, an improvement from the original 5.1 (even if purists may frown upon the fact that the original track is not included). The remix brings a very immersive, organic experience from things like crowd noise in the marketplace to the quiet moments when the music takes precedence. The biggest highlight of course is when the Genie debuts; his powers are a sonic hurricane. There's a reason this film was nominated for Best Sound and Sound Effects Editing at the '93 Academy Awards. Along with the "classic extras" ported over from the first DVD release, we get some welcome new additions that emphasize paying tribute to Robin Williams and the new Broadway musical: There's "Aladdin: Creating Broadway Magic"; an 18-minute featurette on the creation of the musical production. "Unboxing Aladdin" is an overview of some 'Easter eggs' included in the film, and "Genie 101" is an explanation of the pop-culture references. Both of these last two are targeted to appeal to children, but to be honest, I enjoyed them. I was born in the 80s, so the Ed Sullivan and Peter Lorre impersonations flew over my head back when the film came out. The big highlight of this Blu-ray are the "Genie Outtakes" - 9 more minutes of Robin Williams improvisations that are pretty funny; we get to see more character impersonations and gags accompanied by animated storyboards. I won't spoil it, but there's an alternate take of Genie after he rescues Aladdin, after he used his second wish that had me laughing hysterically! I presume it was dropped for not being very "G-rated." The results do not disappoint, and I think Disney both fulfilled and exceeded expectations with this highly-anticipated Blu-ray release!

Now the film does not fill the screen as its native formatting was not wide screen and they changed the intro song lyrics so its a forsake buy in 4k but they should have left the introduction alone!

What a memorable movie in a stunning steel case. A true classic Disney movie, presented in 4k. The colors are perfect balanced and the use of the Dolby Atmos mix just elevates the move experience.

If you love disney and steelbooks then you should get this. Our family loves both and glad disney and bestbuy are bringing steelbooks for these movies. This is one of our favorite disney movies.

I am not a big fan of double purchasing multiple re-dos of the same Disney film, but for Aladdin in the new and improved 4K UHD format, I made an exception (the other one being The Lion King).

So happy that Disney opened the Vault and let this movie out. My kid’s favorite movie as a little boy. Now am able to purchase it and give him nice memories of his childhood. Thanks Disney.
