I think they did a rather good job rehashing this story

The movie itself was good. The imagining of the wonderland characters (not alice) and the wonderland backgrounds are the movies strong point.s. The 3d effects were not good/ quite often not distinct.. Ablu ray version was included with the 3D. That print was excellent.

Bought this for my niece and she really enjoyed the movie.

Never read the original book but would guess this movie brought it closer to the book version than the older animated movies. Purchased and enjoyed this 3D version. Characters were good. Probably a movie you could watch with your children and both be entertained.

Interesting version of Alice in Wonderland........

I enjoyed this movie, but it was not quite as good as the original Alice in Wonderland with Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp. Some very creative and funny characters, but perhaps seeking to redeem the queen of hearts is too contrived. Still, a fun movie.

The picture was incredible in 3D, definitely worth the purchase.
