great movie with great characters & special effect

A great sequel, Johnny Depp does a great job again

Looks like a good movie but haven't watched it yet

Disney does it again with this second installment.

The packaging is standard for a blu-ray. Special features on this edition are pretty good, certainly above average for a standard release. The film itself is middle of the road for me (about a 5.5/10), but the PQ is very good.

I don’t remember anything in particular that I liked about this movie. It’s like a sequel you didn’t ask for. Sure kids will enjoy it but probably just a one time watch for adults and that’s it.

After seeing the last Alice film from Tim Burton and Johnny Depp I admit that I wasn't expecting much, but this one is slightly better than the previous one and isn't too awful overall. A decent film to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

the special effects of are great, great surround sound, and it's been a great storyline from generation to generation. However, sometimes Johnny Depp's work seems overrated. Overall the movie is enjoyable however its not repeat for me

The film looks fantastic and includes loads of fun bonus features. That said, the film itself is rather an ordeal to sit through, as it's trying to do too much in order to meet the high bar set by the first film. It wanders off path and is too unbalanced to keep some viewers attention and continues to backtrack to tell a story that could have been more streamlined. Uses special effects as filler when story becomes too convoluted or thin to hold the picture up on it's own; seems to be more of a cash in on the successes of the first film and doesn't really have the chops to stand on it's own with other Disney adaptations.

Although I did not expect this to follow the book, I was disappointed it had the title when it had NOTHING to do with the book. If it was a stand-alone movie, it would not have done well. It was interesting none the less.

Purchased this for my daughter, she liked this movie. It has great special effects. It is family friendly. She loves Jonny Depp and she was disappointed because he did not have a lot of active screen time.

You might enjoy the tea party scenes and the time lord and his minions and (spoiler alert!)....a young Hatter and his friends...but it's like it went overboard on the special effects and was missing something. :(

All you could expect in a sequel. More oddities were added. New character makes a high pitched, weird and annoying noise. The noise seemed to last most of the movie. Other than that, it wasn't too bad.

This movie was very good, but not as good as the first one. I especially didn't like the makeup on the Hatter (Johnny Depp). It was so unusual, that is became distracting to the film.

I expected more and something a lil different from watching all the trailers and to be honest for me it was just okay wasn't great I would rather watch the first release

It's definitely not one of my favorite Disney movies. The plot is a little thin and the cinematography is all over the place. It is visually stunning though.

This movie isn't bad but it's just not as good as the first movie in my opinion. Hard to explain I just enjoyed the first movie better.

This movie just didn't seem to have any heart. Even though the visualization the colors and acting we're good storyline just seemed a little Mediocre

Come for the visuals, and don't take the the story to seriously. Overall I was entertained enough to not have my phone open doing other things.
