This isn't iconic movie went this works and allows you to feel what the characters actually going through and begins to build up what really going to space can be like no one can hear you scream and the fact that it is in blue ray makes it better You can take Anywhere you want to go to

The orignal Sci-Fi horror film that started it all! If you've never had a chance to see the original Alien film now's the time. At 10 bucks its a steal. They don't make them like they used to! The movie may not be as scary as it used to be but it still beats out all of today's straight to video scifi-horror flicks by a long shot!

This was the start of the Alien series, which is still here today! This showed us what single one of them could, as well as there acid blood & long toughing which come poke a hole in your head when ever it wanted to! I would recommend this DVD becuase it was well writen story & good space horror moive of its time!

This movie is easily one of the best Sci-Fi films of all time. Scott did such a great job in capturing the gloom-n-doom that it is no wonder why this is one of the top horror/Sci-Fi titles that has ever been made.

I have always been into the sci-fi films. Alien is definitely one of them. Whenever I go to buy a dvd, I always get it at Best Buy, because they have the best price. I always recommend Best Buy to anyone who wants the bang for the buck.

Ridley Scott's 1979 masterpiece is still a treat to watch and looks incredible on Blu-ray.

This is a classic film from Ridley Scott. Seeing this on 4K is amazing.

Love the packaging, the comic and all the artwork. Transfer and audio was excellent. Great features. All around great addition to one's Blu-Ray collection.

Kept you in suspense, from the finding of the ship, to the exploration and grabber getting on the mask, to the stalking throughout the ship!

Includes the original theatrical cut and the director's cut. Can't beat it for under $15...Must have for everyone's movie collection!

A classic Sci-Fi Movie. This anniversary edition is very good with some nice extra stuff included.

Love the movie, but was disappointed that the disk was scratched, which seems to be typical from Best Buy. The packaging is nice, but the content of the movie disk is exactly the same as what you get in the Alien Anthology, nothing new or different.

This is a classic movie with two editions of it so what's not to like about it A++

I like to think, that if there is intelligent life besides us humans out there in the universe, that it's not something like what we see in this movie. A superb sci-fi thriller, 'Alien' is worth a watch, but is so horrific and uncomfortable, it's actually hard to walk away from the picture feeling good or enlightened in any way. Widescreen, decent bonus material, but die-hard fans may want to opt for the more impressive collector's edition.
