A classic years later and the bonus features are worth watching. Worth rewatching now and again. Plus the quality is the best out there so far with an uhd release.

This is probably my favorite Alien movie, because it had everything I like in a movie; an original plot, a good cast, especially Sigourney Weaver, the score as well as one of my favorite directors, Ridley Scott. I would recommend everyone to watch this just to see what you've been missing out on, especially if you plan on playing Alien Isolation anytime soon.

One of the most important S/F films of all time gets the 4K treatment. It looks amazing! And a digital code! I love this cut of the film best. It's also chock full of goodies.

I'm a huge fan of the movie and I've seen it numerous times, including on the big screen. I was pretty surprised by how great the 4K restoration of this was, it (almost) felt like I was watching a much more modern movie. Plus, the digital copy comes with short films!

If you’re as big as an Alien fan, you need to get this. This is quite possibly the best version to own. There’s still some audio quality that couldn’t sound as great as great as it looks visually but it’s not a deal breaker.

The one that started it all, such a great creature. Scary as hell. Lots of great characters to keep the story moving, this and Aliens are 2 of the best movies in a franchise.

Make no mistake, compared to contemporary movies this is a slow burn but go with it, watch it in a darkened room and you will not be disappointed, plenty of scares, excellent 4K image and sound. Highly recommended!

Transfer looks great on this 4K release! Slightly better looking transfer than the later blu-ray release, but not by much - the 4K is pretty inexpensive these days. So it's worth the price of admission!

let's hope they continue redoing the entire series into 4k. Everything is so much sharper in detail which adds that extra edge of immersing yourself into the film. So next time you're at Best Buy do yourself a favor and pick this film up you won't be disappointed.

This re-mastered DVD copy "ALIENS" should be a must-have on any lover of classic science-fiction's list! I do know it was basically a more-than-excellent remake of the very good 1950's "It! The Terror From Outer Space!" movie. The plot, sub-plot and CGI were simply excellent!!

Excellent presentation of the first Alien movie. A 4k presentation plus a blu-ray and digital code and plenty of extras make this the version of this movie to buy.

The original Alien is one of the finest sci-fi thrillers of any generation. I can remember seeing this movie when I was younger and never being able to watch the scene where the alien burst outta the guys chest.. finally as I got older I was able to watch it. Anyway, to any sci-fi fan this movie is a classic and worth watching at least once a year

This really is worth every penny to upgrade. Whether you're a die hard fan, casual fan, or just love visual presentation. An easy sell, glad I double dipped on this one. Best part is I got to gift old blu ray to someone one as well.

Alien is one of the scariest movie I have ever seen. The Anniversary Edition is worth its asking price with Collectable Memorabilia, like a reprint of the original comic, and amazing art cards that brought this world to life. I am a first time watcher of this series and I love this movie. If you're a fan of this franchise, this Anniversary set is for you.

This 4K edition of Alien is well worth the upgrade. The sights and sounds are remarkable. Once again, you'll discover, in space no one can hear you scream.

Once I saw this Best Buy SteelBook I had to have it! One of my all time favorite movies in a beautiful 4k transfer that didn't disappoint me. I think this contains the same extras past Alien movies has but I wouldn't swear to it. Very happy with the purchase.

Alien is an amazing film. This disc is basically the same as what was already released, but comes with a digital copy and some pretty cool packaging and art cards. Just be careful, the box gets crushed easily so be careful if you decide to order it shipped.

I got this after seeing the great reviews detailing how they scanned the original film negatives into 4k. The quality looks like it was filmed within the last few years now. I had the original in Dvd and that looks like a VHS version in comparison.
