While Aliens (plural) is where the franchise picks up in my opinion, the original Alien film is a classic and must own for any horror/space film lovers. This particular version on blu ray i picked up because it is the remastered version and looks even better on blu ray!

I have been looking for this specific SteelBook edition for awhile now, finally, just randomly found it. Couldn't be happier. Images look crisp and sharp, and the colors are fantastic for a 40 year old movie.

I have Alien in HD twice on blu ray, but this 4K is the best it’s ever looked and it’s like seeing it for the first time again.

Possibly my favorite movie of all time, now in 4k! Beyond amazing picture and sound. 4k is starting to become a lot more affordable and if you are an Alien fan, this is a must buy!

I saw Alien in the theater years ago and felt it was one of the best science fiction movies ever made. When it went on DVD I was thrilled. Now you can see it with 4K on big screen televisions. Fantastic.

No matter how many times I've seen it, this one still holds up. If you don't own it, go get it...now! I was lucky enough to pick this (35th Anniversary), which includes the Giger art cards and mini comic for $2.99. A fantastic movie for under $10. A steal for $3.

Great all time classic. Glad to see bonus extra's. Especially Ridley Scott's comments on the filming of Alien. Unusual and effective method of filming. No wonder it has such impact.

Alien is, perhaps, the most terrifying movie I've ever seen. One shot, in particular, literally gave me goose bumps. One of director's Ridley Scott best films. The UHD version is excellent. Go buy this!

This film looks and sounds amazing in 4K. If you really want to see this movie in a new format and experience its majesty all over again, do yourself a favor and pick it up!

This is great version of a classic sci-fi film. You get both the theatrical 1979 film and the 2003 Driectors cut plus extra features. Really nice artwork for the cover, inside and back. Love it!

Can’t believe I waited this long to see this movie. Alien isolation is my all time favorite game and this movie makes the alien universe complete for me.

Whether you like Sci-Fi, Horror, both, or neither, this is just a classic! And you have to start at the beginning, even if some of the sequels (I am looking at you, "Alien Resurrection") and spinoffs (Alien Vs Predator Requiem, Promotheus), were duds.

The 4K presentation of Alien is the definitive home release. The finer detail shows on UHD. Film grain is present, as it should be, and the colors and black levels bring out the depth of the film.

This UHD has a stunning picture and sound to it. As far as the movie goes well it is ALIEN if you have seen it then you know what to expect and if you haven't seen it the what are you waiting for?

The movie is a classic. Why not own it on 4K disc? It being an anniversary addition is bonus!

Turn your surround sound on and immerse yourself in this classic movie. Sure, the effects might look terrible when you are used to CGI in todays films but, who doesn't love practical effects?! For the time that it was made, Ridley Scott directed an amazing movie!

Although this is not Sigourney Weaver's first film, it introduced her to the world. It sets up the best heroine in our lifetime and set the stage for many sequels. I enjoyed it in 1979 and I enjoyed it again last week. The BluRay quality is fabulously detailed.

This movie is one of my all time nightmare fuel movies from childhood. 4k looks and sounds outrageous and brought back the old horror feels from childhood.
