I was amazed at how clear the details are on this 70's classic, and the sound is fantastic, too. I cannot recommend this disc enough. This is how a 70's movie should look in 4k!

One of the greatest movies ever made and now in 4K UHD!!! Can't believe it's been 40 years. Saw this in theaters when it came out, scared the hell out of me.

Amazing 4k transfer. The picture is stunning and the sound is good as well. This movie has aged very well, highly recommend it. Especially at like $15.

I've loved this film since childhood, and I've waited a long time for the Blu-Ray to be affordable. Haven't checked out special features yet, but they're rarely a selling point for me anyway. Just glad to have a high quality copy of a great film.

The 4K version is spectacular, the shots look very real in every aspect, not to mention the performances. And of course it is a cult film that should not be missed.

Excellent picture quality, came with slipcover and no visible blemishes on the slipcover or case. A classic film and a perfect example of atmosphere.

This 4k of the original Alien is amazing looking. Definitely worth the upgrade even if you have the Quadrilogy Blu-ray.

The clarity of this picture is fantastic. The construction and presentation of these limited edition steelbooks also add to the luster if you are a collector. highly recommended.

This movie is a must own for any sci-fi/horror fan. As both, glad to have finally been able to pick it up on Blu-Ray (and at such a great price). There are definitely more prestigious editions for collectors, but too great of a price to pass up.

What can you say. Classic movie that started a franchise. Love the original Alien. This steelbook features beautiful artwork and colors and is a great addition to any collection.

This is one of the classic horror films of all time. With this Director's Cut you can see everything that Ridley Scott wanted to have in the film but didn't make the theatrical cut. The differences are minor, but well worth watching.

A classic horror film in 4K. Includes special features and two completely different cuts of the film. The newer Scott cut is worth seeing.

There is so much good I can say about Alien. Its such an incredible horror sci-fi thriller. It has it all. This movie has so many good jump out of your seat scare moments. I highly recommend adding this title to your collection.

The first Alien movie is a whole lot of fun and violent. just don't watch it in the dark because toward the end of the movie, there's a lot of flashing lights.

This is another Ridley Scott gem. A great script. A movie that doesn't need cg to tell the story.

This movie looks better than most movies made today due to newer movies over reliance on CGI. It is one of the greatest of the genre. Also expect a very nice 1080p transfer and very atmospheric.

One of my top 3 movies of all time. The quality of the original film is such that it translates well to 4K UHD. Definitely worth buying in the UHD format!

Great 4K transfer. The one that started it all. The second movie is my favorite but this is a close second. Definitely worth the purchase.

Not much of an upgrade from the standard bluray (which is already phenomenal) except for the added HDR...which looks incredible. Well worth the low price and then some.
