I have been a fan of this film since it first appeared in theaters, so I've owned just about every copy of this film on home video: VHS, laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray. However, this 4k release is the best this film has ever looked. If you're a fan of this film, I highly recommend this 4k disc. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent reference movie to demo in my home theater. UltraHD 4K transfer is amazing. Dolby Atmos track really shakes my room .. CGI is not over saturated and I did not detect any edge enhancements. Nostalgic movie fir me as I grew up watching Sigourney Weaver ... my absolute favorite actress!

This movie is a classic, and it’s aged wonderfully. The sense of atmosphere, drama, suspense, rarely do movies today capture it so well. The actual 4K transfer is outstanding, I have never seen this movie look this good, I noticed things I never had before.

This classic has never looked sharper, or sounded better, and I doubt this version can ever be topped. I hate that I missed out on the exclusive steelbook, but the UHD is totally worth it. The older the film, the better the UHD most of the time, and Alien is no exception!!!

This is like watching this movie for the first time. The 4K resolution plus HDR color makes it seem totally new. We were blown away at how good the movie and, especially, the special effects could look on a 40 year old movie. This makes it clear why this series has lasted 40 years.

My girlfriend is a massive ALIEN dan and I had to get her this 4K release of the classic film, which actually turned out to be an amazing transfer and we found ourselves looking back and forth at each other over the pristine detail of the 4K. Also comes with a 4K digital copy! Great value!

Great Classic Movie. Still one of the best sci- fi /horror movies of all time. Great directing with style and vision. great special effects all around. The 4k quality is top notch meshed with great sound system is perfection.

What can anyone say about Alien that already hasn't been said. One of the greatest horror sci-fi films of all time. The 4K UHD blu ray presents ALIEN as it was meant to be seen, in the best visual experience it has ever had for home viewing. A must have for any Alien fan.

The 4K remaster looks beautiful and the the foil slipcase looks very cool. This film has so much detail attached to everything that you'll be blown away by how much detail all the sets and backgrounds have. Also the close-ups on actor's faces looks crystal clear.

This is the wonderful sci-fi thriller we all know and love. Pacing may be a little on the slower side for younger viewers but overall you cannot dispute the quality of the film. Great special features such as digital download, movie commentary, original theatrical release and remastered 2003 release, and deleted scenes. I loved this movie as a kid and it did not disappoint as an adult.

It might be surprising how Alien looks in 4K, especially compared to the last forty years of home video releases, but it's important to understand that this is as close to how it looked theatrically as we will likely get. That being said, Alien remains an astonishingly perfect and effective movie. A classic.

Hard to believe this is a film shot over 40 years ago when you watch this stunning 4K presentation of Ridley Scott’s masterpiece. Fantastic use of HDR really brings it to life. Hope the same treatment is given to James Cameron’s sequel soon.

This movie is the one and only scariest non-stop action movie that can never be duplicated. Anyone who has never seen Alien (really is there anyone out there that hasn't seen Alien?) should hit their "On Demand" button and enjoy. This movie is as fresh and up-to-date today as when it was original premiered 25 years ago. Give Ridley Scott a "Platium Star". I would definitely recommend this movie.

Although this wasn't my first 4k of choice it is one that needed to be in my collection. The quality of the picture on this disc is a great example of what 4k should be. A classic restored to fit modern TVs. Don't let this one go by, pick it up for sure.

I love this movie. What's even better, is that this little anniversary set I got for $5 is awesome. It came with a little booklet and has a lot of extras with it. Not to mention, it's great to see the theatrical version of the movie and not have to watch it on cable where it's edited and what not. I was not let down by this and felt like it was a steal given I only paid $5 for it.

This is the best Alien has ever looked on home video. The 4K presentation is like seeing the film for the first time, the picture clarity and sound are superb, it's looks as through the film was just made this year. Don't hesitate to upgrade from your previous Blu-ray, you won't regret it!

Alien 4K UHD HDR is amazing! It’s probably only a matter of time before the series is all on me 4K. Maybe Best Buy will put out one of those steel book sets That is housed in a larger steel book case like the Rambo set they recently released. That would be pretty epic!

I found a new fondness for this classic movie watching it on Blu Ray. Sounds and picture are so much better than the old VHS or DVD. The improved transcription breathes new life into this great film. Also includes extended version I had never seen before and a digital copy for playing on the move....how about those quarantine guidelines, Dallas?

Impressive 4K UHD video & sound quality. Classic syfy flm from Ridley Scott, full of suspense and graphic violent scenes. Previously purchased Alien on DVD and blu-ray, now the 4K UHD version. This version is the one to buy.

A really good remastered of the original film to really experience it in 4k from the original 720p era of movies. This movie really shines from all the other movies that got a face uplift in quality. A fine addition for any classic movie collectors out there.
