Movie is great, and the packaging /would/ be really neat; however, I did an online pickup order and the sticker ripped off half of the graphics on the front. Now the front of the dvd just reads an abysmal “LIEN”. Not mad....just disappointed since this is a present for a close friend who loves 4K movies.

In space no one can hear you scream... Alien, the quintessential scifi horror ever to grace our movie screens in glorious 4k What more is there to say? Enjoy...

Is really rare that movies 30+ years can still hold up with effects, story among other things. If you're a sci-fi or horror aficionado this movie is a must own.

This move has stood the test of time for sure. Seeing it in 4K Ultra HD makes it like it is a whole new movie. I have seen this movie at least 30 times.

This movie was ahead of it’s time, it holds up to todays standards, even the special effects, great story and great actors. What more can I say? Definitely a top 20 fill of all time.

One of the great horror movies and now the Director's Cut which is excellent and adds more to the movie. Once again Blu Ray enhances the audio and visual to bring it back to it's original scary form.

Will make your hair stand up. For a movie that came out before I was even born, 4K UHD sure has made it like something you’ve never seen before

One of the scariest movies ever made and it holds up to this day. 4K even makes this picture and sound better. One of the greatest casts ever.

I saw this movie in the theater back in 1979 and I could watch it over and over. This was the first time seeing it in HD (on Blu-Ray) and it didn't disappoint! I still jumped out of my seat whenever the Alien appeared.

Great movie that has been remastered in 4K. The steelbook adds to the physical visual upgrades alongside the obvious technical ones. A must for any Ripley fan.

The special effects were great for this movie, taking into consideration how old it was. This is the one that started the entire alien story.

Haven’t had a chance to watch yet, but read that the picture is great. Excited to watch this in a few days.

Fantastic movie and the best transfer yet. Keeps the classic film look but with more true colors and extremely crisp picture.

This is one of my favorite sci fi movies of all time if you haven't seen it you need to.If you own the DVD this Blu Ray is more than worth the upgrade because the movie looks gorgeous,and better than most modern movies.
