Great movie..it leads you to think it was a stand alone movie but really ties into the earlier alien movies..

I'm not a huge Ridley Scott fan in the first place because I find his movies somewhat slow and this was no exception. It did a decent job as an origin story and I wasn't really bored, but it certainly wasn't exciting either. If you are looking for Aliens, this is not your movie.
