This is a dark movie hdr helps a little in the darker areas slightly better than the blu-ray if you collect steelbook then pick it up

4K is great, but not amazing like Blade Runner. The movie on the other hand probably ranks 4th or 5th in the series and is more of a horror film than the others.

If you've seen the others then you know what to expect with this one. What was surprising to me was the fact that this movie tied into Prometheus - pretty neat.

They almost nailed. Great movie and I am glad I own it, just feels like It is missing something, but still a great buy, especially if you are a fan of the series.

not the greatest movie but a movie that is comparible to the other alien movies but more futuristic. Aliens 2 was by far the best movie of all the alien movies

This latest of the “Alien” films is not up to any of the first 3. It seems to be nothing more than a springboard to setup another in this lucrative concession.

After seeing Promethius expected this sequel to be more. The last 3rd of the movie was more a single shooter video game. Watching in 4K with HDR helped.

This is a good lead up to what will eventually be the original Alien. However it lacks enough of Alien. If your a fan you will like the story. Its well done.

I've always been a fan of the Alien franchise. While this latest installment may not be the best, it's a worthwhile watch if you're a fan of the Alien movies.

This was a bit of disappointment compared to most of the other Alien movies. Not bad though. Should look fantastic in 4K

I'm not sure how they are going to tie all this together for the original Alien movie. I wasn't that impressed with this story as much as the original.

SPOILER: When this movie came out in the theatre, I wanted to see it, but didn’t have a chance. Glad I didn’t pay theatre price to see. The movie at best was so so. Not sure what I expecting but this wasn’t it. I was actually hoping to see more of a sequel to Prometheus. Or at least more of a connection to the previous movie. I believe I wasn’t really interested to how the Alien creature was created or evolved. That’s why the movie didn’t do anything for me.

It seems like Ripley Scot wants to compete with Rocky for the number of films in the series. No one can not eliminate the creatures just like insects.

I got this movie because it was under $10 and I wish more of the story would have been explained but the visuals are great and the acting pretty good.

Not the best alien film but worth owning if you can find it for $5 with digital copy. Regardless, it’s nice to see Ridley Scott tackle the franchise.

Didn't like it the first time but was talked into watching again and glad I did, fills some holes from Prometheus. Looking forward to the next edition.

Good, but quite possibly the weakest entry in the series. Opinion may change over time, but for now would probably recommend a rental over purchase.

Ok, how about I say , I just want to shake Mr. Scott and ask him just what he was thinking? I love this guy, I really do. He’s a visionary, an artist, but if they give him the reins again he’d better knock it out of the park or turn this series over to someone who can excite the Alien masses again. I unfortunately rank this one right under Alien: Resurrection , and I don’t know if you’ll agree with me or not but I really felt let down with this installment.

Much better than Prometheus, but still does not match Aliens. Entertaining, and the ending leaves the franchise open for an exciting new direction

A good remake in the countinuing saga of Alien. there seems to be no end to the madness of Alien monsters.. but fun to watch with the kids..
